51,250 Miles on Odometer..good chance this is original mileage since it still has the original windshield; odometer numbers are super straight (usually after 100k they are not straight); still has the original rad. Core support rubber seal;
No headliner
Drum Brakes all the way around…I would highly recommend installing Disc Brakes on the front and a power brake booster
GOOD: Rare big block “S” code; factory 4 speed car; Factory color is Black; Runs and drives; Never wrecked in the front or rear; gaps are all good;
NEGATIVE: cowls leak water test on both sides; floor pan repairs on both sides center part of car; Original 9” rearend is gone and replaced with an 8” unit;
ENGINE: Probably a 390 block is cast in 1966 (too early for this car to be original); Regular 390 heads (not 14 bolt exh. GT390 heads); 428PI Factory 4v Alum Intake Manifold (rare); Newer Holley 4v carb; GT390 Chrome factory Valve Covers; Headers
TRANS: 4 speed Toploader with factory ford shifter (not sure if close or wide ratio and not sure if it is the original trans. to this car..??) Not a big deal if it is not since the trans. was never stamped at the factory with a VIN number.
REAREND: Has a 8” rearend, not sure of the ratio…the factory 9” is missing.
BODY: Pretty straight…something happened on drivers side rearward of the fins and low (bondo there); also some bondo on the left rear quarter panel (behind tire and low); floor pan repairs center of car both sides (I’ve seen better and I’ve seen worse work); Never wrecked in the front or rear; Trunk area looks good; Frame rails look good; body gaps good
