One of the best looking warships... period
Thanks for watching 👍
Wasnt the first time some dutch ships have sailed up english rivers😉
This time they didn't take their flagship!
Sailes past (in close up) and giving a feeling of watching a big war hero you look at when passing you. You watch in silence with admiration and respect.
What a beauty!
Thanks for watching! 👍
It ’s a very impressive video !!
Thanks for the kind comment. 👍
There were a few Dutch warships in London this week. Greenwich had their biggest ship moored up, Karel Doorman,(?) then another Scheiman(?) at HMS President and De Zeven alongside Belfast.
Yes - there were 5 of them. The one at Greenwich was, I believe, the largest ship in the Dutch navy. They all sailed back down the Thames yesterday but unfortunately work commitments meant I was not able to go and film them.
HNLMS Schiedam (M860) named after a city near Rotterdam

At 5:24 you see M860@@Vervelio01
De Zeven Provincien the ship named after the de Ruyters flagship that was the flagship in the raid on the medway .
Awsome video, thanks for sharing :)
Thanks for watching and thanks for the kind comment.👍
You really do get all the interesting ships on the thames.Think my next trip down won't be until spring when it's lighter earlier. Great vid 👍😃
Thanks. It has been a bit quiet for the last month or so but I can't complain because, as you say, there is a good amount of variety during the year. I don't know if you receive the weekly PLA newsletter or not but the other week it said that the pier at Gravesend has been purchased by the Uber Boat Thames Clipper service and they are planning on running services from Gravesend through to Central London at some time in the future.
@@ThamesShips I did see that on twitter or something a few weeks back but they might not be running a service until 2025 I think I read.
Also, unusually, the PLA website currently gives the departure times for the warships.
@@ThamesShips thought they stopped doing that but good to see they changed it.
@@ThamesShips Speaking of the Uber Boats, lots of filming going on yesterday and overnight around Canary Wharf/Greenland Surrey Quays.....even converted as couple of the Rocket/Jet RIBS to filming platforms. Boat crews were "sworn to secrecy" when I asked what was going on, but wonder if its the new hybrid boats being delivered?
Beautiful powerful frigate
Thanks for watching!
I think I saw this come in at the Thames barrier in December. It looked huge.
Yes - it was quite a large ship to be that far up the river.
Hightech guide missle M fregat Dutch Navy.
It’s not a M frigate but a LCF frigate
👏🧡
Thanks for watching.
I wonder what British flagship they brought home this time. :p
