Он не просто зол. Он полон ненависти, но ненависти к самому себе. За все что он натворил, особенно от понимания того, что больше ничего не вернуть и не изменить. Он никогда так не ошибался
It's so good to still be seeing fresh new reactions to this masterpiece even now. I've seen pretty much everyone react to this by now and needed a fix on new reactions lol. Compared to the original fight scene from 1977, this one wasn't just better choreographed, but was far more emotional in context with Anakin and Obi-Wan's relationship in the prequels, which this original fight scene just didn't have. The last time Anakin and Obi-Wan saw each other, it was 19 years ago when they fought and Obi-Wan left Anakin for dead on Mustafar. Imagine the feelings that would be going through them both, through Anakin. Imagine his hatred and anger. They managed to convey those emotions so well, even though you couldn't see Vader's face. They showed it through the music and the way Vader fought. They perfectly captured how ruthless and aggressive with a lightsaber Vader is said to be, and even blended it with a bit of Anakin's old fighting style to show that Anakin was still in there. They also kept faithful to the fact that Vader couldn't lift his arms over his shoulders, which was a nice attention to detail. Also this makes Obi-Wan's sacrifice make more sense. Originally it looked like Obi-Wan just decided to let himself die in front of Luke, but here we see that Vader was slowly overpowering him. Obi-Wan couldn't win. He knew he couldn't win. He never planned on winning. From how he was talking to Luke before, he sounded like he knew he was gonna die. He took on Vader just to keep him distracted, knowing he wouldn't be walking away with his life. This adds so much more weight to his decision. He put himself in that situation just to keep the others safe. It also adds to the scene to not have Vader just kinda standing there with his lightsaber already ignited, as if patiently waiting for Obi-Wan or stumbling upon him. Here we see Vader actively hunting him down. We see his aggression and anticipation as Vader moved to intercept him, even before the fight started. We get a feeling for how badly he wants Obi-Wan taken care of. And we get that intimidation upon seeing Vader intercepting Obi-Wan (the doors behind Vader were still closing, showing he'd just arrived) and igniting his lightsaber in front of him. And that music... as it crescendos near the end, the final hate-filled stare Vader/Anakin gives Obi-Wan (considering the last time they saw each other), and those quotes... This actually made me tear up. As much as I love Star Wars, I don't think it's ever made me cry before, but this made me want to. They really nailed the tone and character so well in this scene, even better than the original movie did.
Great comment! Regarding this part: "Obi-Wan couldn't win. He knew he couldn't win. He never planned on winning. From how he was talking to Luke before, he sounded like he knew he was gonna die." My theory is this: Obi-Wan sabotaged the main reactor, then went back to the hangar to make sure Luke and the others got away safely. But he never planned to escape with them. "Your destiny lies upon a different path from mine." If Vader hadn't showed up at the hangar, Obi-Wan would have told Luke and Han to get on the Falcon and leave without him, explaining that he intended to stay behind and continue sabotaging the Death Star. (Of course, he would firmly refuse Luke's tearful offer to stay behind with him - even, if necessary, ordering Chewbacca to pick Luke up and carry the boy onto the ship by force.) To expand on this - Obi-Wan would have tried to sabotage the Death Star's superlaser in such a way that when it was fired, it would overload the main reactor, and instead of destroying its target, the Death Star would blow itself up. If Obi-Wan was still alive when the Rebel starfighters began attacking the station, he would then arrange to get himself killed immediately - if not by Vader, then by attacking dozens of stormtroopers at once and getting himself shot dead. Once dead and part of the Force, Obi-Wan would be able to help Luke, as he did in the movie. His sabotage of the Death Star's superlaser would be a backup in case the starfighter attack failed. (For example, Obi-Wan had no way of knowing that the Death Star would only launch 15 TIEs against the 30 Rebel fighters - it could just as easily have launched 150, or even 1,500!)
Obi Wan’s sacrifice is part of his fatal character flaw, his arrogance. What he tries to do is give Luke reason to kill Vader because he believes him to be unredeemable, even telling Luke that he must destroy Vader in ROTJ despite Luke arguing that Vader can be redeemed. Obi Wan is a perfect example of a mentor, imparting his knowledge but also subconsciously attempting to pass on his flaws
Understand in this movie there was no cannon no backstory NO HISTORY. Then he had a foe he was struggling with and 6 or so troopers that rushed over so then in our eyes he was done for and he made the sacrifice. Fast forward 40+ years of history and backstories. Vader was the real issue the trooper... a joke. NOW this re-mastered scene makes more sense and it is far better choreographed then the originals (if you did not know the originals were based on samurai duals not the MMA fighting style used now as Lucas he stated so in an old interviews).
What makes this remake so good is the emotion in it. With each swing of the lightsaber Vader makes, you can feel just the burning hate and rage each blow delivers. And at the end before he kills Obi Wan, when their doing that voice flashback, I can’t help but imagine Anakins expression beneath his mask. I always imagine his teeth being clenched and his eyes being more Sith yellow then before; and to add onto it I can imagine tears just streaming from his eyes as he raises his lightsaber.
I’ve just found your channel thanks to Fallen Order content. Your perpetual positivity, enthusiasm and authenticity are all incredibly charming and refreshing. I would love to see more Battlefront content myself, but you are amazing in anything you stream. Congratulations and thank you!
The thing I love about this more than anything is his aggressive fighting style that was more of a thing in Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and THAT scene in Rogue One! Loving your channel by the way! Stumbled across it when watching various reactions to Fallen Order!
I remember first seeing this reimagined scene a couple years ago. I had no idea that they've updated it since, way longer and more action. The ep 3 audio at the end was a nice touch too.
LOUISE, here at my house, in one of the many cities in Brazil and I could see this scene of the fight between VADER and OBI WAN KENOBI and it really is a scene to remember for a long time, just like the franchise movies.
STAR WARS has always been and will always be remembered by characters like LUKE SKYWALKER, DARTH VADER, PRINCESS LEA, etc. If I'm going to write the name of every important character in the franchise, I'll spend a whole day writing it. STAR WARS is important to all fans, both veterans and new fans will emerge.
Such a Emotional Fight you can feel His rage towards Obi wan because of probably how he treat him maybe obi wan was jealous of how powerful Anakin was Such. Cool fight
Off screen, you can imagine the stormtroopers orders : By Both Lord Vader and Governor Tarkin's direct orders, you are NOT to actually shoot the the Rebel freighter's crew. Any trooper or TIE pilot who actually shoots these Rebels will WISH the Rebels had killed them instead."
Haha I love how Vader didn't care about being on fire, then again I'd think he's a bit immune after being melted in Ep3. Great vid Louise, keep em coming. Also, if you wanna react to more star wars stuff watch the SWTOR trailers. They're awesome!
Vader just uses all of is unlimited power against Obi-wan on here which is amazing because if he would do this to other fighters they'd stand no chance against him.
Could you please react to the Star Wars Red Five trailer? Is a Mashup with the Top Gun Maverick trailer and is amazing! Same thing with the New Mutants/Freddy Kruger trailer...
You think that's great, their making a new one. This time, Luke VS Darth Vader in Cloud City From The Empire Strikes Back. What's very cool is that in one of the languages spoken in my country, Vader actually directly translates into Father.
Also, notice that where Vader cut Obi-Wan was the same spots where Dooku cut Obi-Wan in Attack of the Clones? Dat attention to detail. It makes those cuts seem like even more of a betrayal/insult against Obi-Wan from Anakin, which is very fitting.
generally dont like re-made things. But, this is incredible. How the battle would have been done if we could have back then. Remember this was created in 1977
What you saw before was likely the trailer for this video. The much shorter trailer and the final product were about a year apart as I understand. Definitely worth the wait though.
Wow. This scene. Wow. This was the fight that Obi Wan and Vader should have had on the Death Star. The rage in Vader's every strike. The crackling, the echoing dialogue....and the Force pushing or throwing... Vader and Obi Wan are masters, and seeing Vader's movements the first time in Star Wars, the first version, I love it, but until after the prequels and so on, we couldn't truly understand and appreciate the power of these men, Sith and Jedi.... This fight was AMAzing. I flinched when That strike went thru Obi Wan. Wow. Thank you for sharing.
Another thing too: Between the blast doors closing and "Run Luke, Run"... If you're listening with headphones you can hear that low rumble / woooosh noise that goes along with a Force Push. I believe that Vader tried to Force Push the doors open... But the spirit of Obi-Wan Counter Pushed, keeping Vader out of the hanger so the others could GTFO. That's why he says "Kenobi" at the door.
It would have been better if they didn’t say Anakin’s name fully and only used the “An” syllable as it would have sounded like Obi-Wan choking up saying “and”
I wonder how you reacted when you saw the hallway scene in Rogue One for the first time! I know I screamed "holy shit" internally for hours afterwards haha
"Impressive, ...MOST IMPRESSIVE!" Almost seamless editing, outstanding computer graphics, and dynamically fluid action. Somebody, call Disney and have them re-shoot this fight scene, paying and using these guys "reimagining" as a paradigm. Then re-re-release the movie again, using the new fight scene, on DVD and/or stream. They'll make 10-20X the money their investment. We've been waiting for this kind of Episode IV fight scene for over forty years.
Hey Louise! You should react to the HFP Productions "the chosen one" and " Kenobi" these are brilliant! They take clips from all the movies and the animated series, so well done! They are getting millions of likes, subscribed 👍
Hey.You are very beautiful and those reactions are ones of the best.I would like to see more often videos with Star Wars reactions.Like Anakin vs Obi wan (on Mustafar).BTW nice job 😘
Disney should shoot this professionally, and put it onto Disney+ as part of the actual movie. It gets me every time, and if the lightsaber cutting effects were a little better, it would be perfect
This scene is now canon in my head
Yep me too
That’s cuz it’s just canon now. Period. We have all spoken and this is now the real version.
Do you make the rounds to all of these videos to make the same banal comment?
The rage in Vader, you can feel. Pissed off, he was.
Great reaction.
Edit: Wow...thanks for the likes.
Great camera work, I hope future saber duels follow the back and forth type of filming.
in his Wheaties, someone pissed....
Он не просто зол. Он полон ненависти, но ненависти к самому себе. За все что он натворил, особенно от понимания того, что больше ничего не вернуть и не изменить. Он никогда так не ошибался
They aren't reimagined's, but some of the fan films are awesome.

some of them are Canon, declared by my authoity….
like shards of the past…

Spot on. So fucking spot on. I can feel Anakins rage, his hatred for his former master. Thanks!
Understand in this movie there was no cannon no backstory NO HISTORY. Then he had a foe he was struggling with and 6 or so troopers that rushed over so then in our eyes he was done for and he made the sacrifice.

Technically after Kenobi it's been 9 years since they last saw each other.
You should react to the Darth Maul: Apprentice fan film!
Arguably the best Star Wars fan film out there along with Vader: Shards of the Past
Yea that one has some ridiculous sabre choreography. Shot at some beautiful locations as well.
I always enjoyed Troopers, too. It is a comedy but it really fits into the original story.
Most definetly
Better than TLJ...
I highly recommend you see the Vader: Shards of the Past, it's seriously fantastic. I think you'd enjoy it, great reaction by the way.
best Vader related Canon Content....
Yes...yes...this needs more likes.

And so with that final strike, Anakin's story of falling comes to a close, and Luke's story of redemption begins...
When you went, "Hello there," I hust busted out laughing
I’ve just found your channel thanks to Fallen Order content. Your perpetual positivity, enthusiasm and authenticity are all incredibly charming and refreshing. I would love to see more Battlefront content myself, but you are amazing in anything you stream. Congratulations and thank you!
The Darth Maul: Apprentice fan film! It's so good!!
“Hello there” Ah a woman of culture
obiwan: hey anakin remember when we fight jumping in hot lava and fly everywear ?
darth vader : yeah long time ago old fart
Hearing "You were the chosen one" while Vader was walking away at the end made me cream my pants 😩
*Hol' up*
The thing I love about this more than anything is his aggressive fighting style that was more of a thing in Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and THAT scene in Rogue One! Loving your channel by the way! Stumbled across it when watching various reactions to Fallen Order!
I think you'd really dig the fan film Darth Maul: Apprentice. The choreography is just amazing in it.

"The Chosen One" and "Kenobi" from HFP Productions.
This NEEDS to be put in the actual film!
Now you need to watch “Obi Wan has PTSD”. One of my favorite Star Wars videos on UA-cam
Such a Emotional Fight you can feel His rage towards Obi wan because of probably how he treat him maybe obi wan was jealous of how powerful Anakin was Such. Cool fight
The back drop is flipped but the video isn't 😅 what caught my attention jedi fallen order in the background 👌😉
Imagine this would have been the actual scene in the movie . Man the graphics team did absolutely brilliant job . Sick scenes
Omg I'm in love, why haven't I found your channel sooner 😍
Now with the Kenobi show running this scene becomes even more relevant.
I love that you love star wars like me I've been a fan since the early 80s.
I highly recommend you react to the Darth Maul: Apprentice fan film, it's incredibly well done and considered canon among many fans
This is the type of edits that are welcome in special editions. They did great
The last thing Obi-Wan saw was Anakin's children reunited after all those years.
He smiled, and let go.
Loved your reaction - all the bits that hit me in the feels the most hit you pretty much the same.
3:46
No mention of how Vader just starts beat on Obi-won with his bare fucking hands! Hahaha
You should see "An old republic fan film: Rescue Mission"
Haha I love how Vader didn't care about being on fire, then again I'd think he's a bit immune after being melted in Ep3. Great vid Louise, keep em coming. Also, if you wanna react to more star wars stuff watch the SWTOR trailers. They're awesome!

I do agree, Maul Apprentice would be well worth the view and reaction...IMO one of the best fan films ever made
The presence of vader dwarfs kylos by miles and I like the character but you can't beat the classics
it honestly amazes me how this looks better than most of the lightsaber duels in the entirety of star wars...
I love how you can see just how pissed off Vader/Anakin is!!
My little sister just watched A New Hope for the first time last night. I'm gonna show her SC 38 reimagined in a bit.
