Better than the propaganda thats been pushed these past 12months. Not really referring to covid either, mainly the bias journalism riddled with persuasive reporting and framing of questioning. Especially around gangs, guns, youth crime, housing, mental health and inflation/living costs. Its undeniable that if we had a different coalition in government we would actually see real questioning and investigative journalism.
On one hand it's a bit of fun but it's less amusing seeing that old fella and his wife going through enough shit while having to live next to a bunch of absolute flogs like that. Must be at his wits end with them, he just seems defeated by it all.
I mean, the thing is if he would have politely raised the issue chances are they would have listened. They literally hadn't ever met him before which means the dude was just suffereing in silence without actually addressing the issue in any way. Are the racers bogan fuckwits? yes, but they're not shitty human beings for it as Guy kinda highlighted.

Guy's journalism is genuinely some of the best available, it's consistently entertaining and often hilarious but he ingratiates himself into groups with the tact of Louis Theroux and it's so insightful as a result. If you see this Guy, hats off mate. Truly one of the greats.
Guy is the first person to have a good time in the burger King countdown parking lot, other than bogans, haha. I made the mistake of going to that countdown one Saturday night and instantly regretted my life choices leading to that moment.
Almost as much fun as what we did at Cherry Lane Laverton back in the 80's. Friday night drags, my blown 253 Torana did alright until I crashed it. Hairline fracture in the skull, broken leg and collar bone. Still have a limp when I walk. Learned the hard way that street racing is not always a great idea. Luckily I grew out of it, these kids will too if they survive it. I knew a few who didn't make it, be careful out there guys.
Time's definitely change but some things still stay the same. Can't beat the early 90's-2000s though. I remember the car park outside Hoyts 8 Cinema the day Fast'N'Furious aired in the cinema, holy shit, it took like 2-3 hours just to get out of the car park at the end of the movie. Thousands upon thousands of cars all cruising around, parking up on Columbo street, filling the town center, people getting out and mingling, meeting people, talking and sharing the love for cars and automotive concepts. Fucking glad I got to experience it all in the age where social media and cell phones weren't a fucking plague.

So we were at a set of lights waiting and this rusty Mitsi pulled up beside us and revved, so my cousin was keen to drag. My cousins car took off and kept accelerating so much that the car was bouncing as we flew. The rusty Mitsi smoked us, somehow. That thing was packing a helluva punch under all that rust!

And whenever you go to any somewhat public place couldn't go more than 2 minutes without going half deaf to the point it drove me insane that I had to move. I have a modified car but I hate getting grouped into this because, they're not necessarily assholes, just that they want to do their skiddies, burnouts and limi bashing in any and every public area without really any regard of disturbing anyone just trying to go about their day.
