Awesome guns! 👌 I own both the ones we shot and almost bought a third VP9 (sub compact) last month 😅 every time I pick one up and feel how good it fits in my hand I want to buy it all over again 🤣
good video thnx, it's always nice to hear people who know what quality is talking about a product be it a gun a car or something else H&k is quality and as said in the video they don't save on good material like many other brands
First time viewer here. When you're able to for future videos try and fix your audio. I'm not sure if there's a fan on in the background, or the area isn't conducive to filming and capturing good audio (not to mention it sounds like people are doing things in the background while recording). Get this fixed for future videos and ya'll will be in business
Its approximately 4.5-5.4 lbs of trigger pull. I personally own several VP9’s the match and the cerakoted models featured in this video, I feel like they’re extremely easy to use trigger. Out of my entire pistol collection that VP9 Match is my most accurate and consistent shooter. Its very easy to get small tight groupings. I’m not sure if the trigger is different in the match vs the standard models, but i cant tell a difference switching back and forth between the two
Thanks for the reply! I'm just getting into shooting and my buddy, who shoots competitively, made me aware that the trigger pull weight is very crucial in one's choice of a firearm. I'm just going to be a recreational shooter, but I want a gun that gives me the best chance of success. Is there a spring kit that can decrease pull weight? @@CartersCountry1
It would shoot even better if you gripped the firearm properly. What is your “support hand” doing? You might as well tea cup it and the leaned back stance is comical. It looks like you’re terrified.
@@lynch_holsters6163 lol nah we keep it honest. I definitely give him crap about his grip too, but then I watch his targets and have to hold back a little, not only did he hit each clay, but he hit the center circle in each clay 😅 hard to pick on him after that lol
@@CartersCountry1 my marine buddy is the same. He is close to tea cupping and does not want to hear anything about his grip But damnit he can make hits.
@@lynch_holsters6163 haha I noticed when I started filming their targets their grips changed to the weird finger in front of the trigger guard thing.. lol they did the same thing in the Sig P322 video. Both times I was like what are yall doooing?? But their shots speak for themselves 😅
Oof. I'd say the accuracy is probably about the same. There's a lot of little differences, but it'd all be personal preferences on what's "better" but that's my personal VP9 and I LOVE it
I have both. I'd say the match has slightly better accuracy for me but its really really close. For the money tho the Rival is a great value. Lots of extras included with the Canik and at half the cost of the HK. If you're on a budget then the Rival will do just fine and you're really not losing out on too much wen comparing to the HK. Still, I prefer the HK.
@@CartersCountry1 that will be a really good video. I know many people are wondering how they match up. I think the HK edges out the Rival and both have their pros and cons. The Rival has so many little extras like all the optics plates, a holster, and more. The mag release I think also comes down to preference, both ambidextrous, but the HK of course has that Euro style paddle release which I find a bit too small. I think the mag on the HK is my only complaint. Looking forward to seeing your comparison of the two!
Rewatching this video gave me an idea. How about a video where you discuss the different grips which come with some guns, and, how to determine how well a gun fits a persons hand? If necessary, how to swap grips. Last, custom or aftermarket grips for pistols.
I think you're referring to the gun shots in the background? We're a gun range/gun store. so yes you can hear a few gun shots in the background as well as customers walking around talking in the store. we've moved to filming in a quieter location
@@MrKingArthurhk I think I'm just used to the gun shots from working here so long 😅 I personally love it in the background, but it does seem to bother yall lol. But we moved filming into one of the classrooms to get rid of background noises. Not as pretty of a backdrop, but quiet!
Haha someone left Larry a nasty comment on a video we filmed shooting outside here in Texas in August, after 3 hrs of running around on the range, yes Larry had a light glistening upon him. 😅
i just picked this up today. the second i felt it, i was sold. being a veteran and using the beretta M9 solely and then picking this up, its like going from a fat woman to the woman of your dreams. yeah, the fat woman is still fun and gets the job done 10 out of 10 times. but at the end of the day, you want a swimsuit model and this is it.
Haha yeah I give them a lot of crap for their personal grips, but they still get bullseyes 🎯 consistently 🤣 we also don't claim to be "pros" either! Just your average guys who like shooting guns!
Love my VP9. I just ordfered a match I can't wait to get it.
The match is a beast! I love mine, I'm tempted to get the sk model he showed us too now for carrying 😅
@@CartersCountry1 I'm sure I'll get one too to complete the VP9 collection. lol
Have two of them with consecutive serial numbers
Great video! Absolutely love my VP-9’s

What is the trigger pull weight on the VP9? I've seen other comments about a little bump that increases the trigger pull difficulty. Comments?

Did you not want to review the VP9T (tactical)?
@@markmccormack1796 I just don’t have that one in my collections “yet” 😅

@@CartersCountry1 the power of editing, just breaking balls 😂. The vp9 match is a ray gun no matter grip.

HK VP9 or Walther PDP? Which one would you pick between the two?
VP9. It's the best pistol straight from the manufacturer.
Canik and Glock, and H&K all day, only guns I trust. That's just me though
I love Carters Country

The only thing missing in that gun is the mag well
