This song has a deep meaning for Maynard, he wrote it as an victory over the stresses of starting his vineyard in Arizona, the primary water source he had to use was the Verde River and this song is a love letter to the River that lets his fields thrive after years of work.
Im seeing Tool in January and Perfect Circle and Puscifer in April. Three versions of Maynard in 77 days. Overload of greatness.
I’m taking the family to see tool in January too! I’ve been a fan since 95/96 and this is the first time. I’m sooooo stoked! I can’t wait to surprise the kids with tickets for Christmas.

A LOT of Puscifer songs have "live versions" and the studio version. Some songs have 4 or 5 different versions. This one is pretty close to the studio, but you might wanna check out the studio anyawy.
Still, I love this band. They fill a different area of my soul than TOOL or APC do. Conditions of my Parole is still my favorite song and album of theirs. Money Shot is like a 10/10 too, but the feel of ComP (which this song is off of) is really hard to describe, but it covers ALL bases.
The studio version goes even harder, though this is excellent and agree close to the studio.
The mere suggestion that Maynard is like the Andre 3000 of metal is one of the best things I’ve ever heard, lol. So much respect for both in their own trades. ✌️
The Humbling River is another awesome Puscifer song.
May not make the cut for your channel... but you gotta give Country Boner a spin. Funny as hell!
Got my tickets to catch Maynard's birthday show next year (Puscifer, Primus, and A Perfect Circle all the same night)... if you can, get yourself to that show man.

Dropping down into Green Valley(Verde Valley) now! Several songs on Conditions of My Parole have Arizona ties. This one, Monsoons, Horizons, Conditions of My Parole, Tumbleweed, and possibly even Telling Ghosts as Jerome is largely thought to be haunted.

I really enjoy your reactions. You have only scratched the surface of all the music out there to discover. Up to the age of 35 my music 70% metal 20% 90's rap and 10% other. Now I only listen to music that has no negativity. That cancels out metal and rap. In essence I'm on a journey like yours discovering new sounds. It's worth it to check out the studio version of anything Maynard does. Live versions are what they are, but the studio version is the jumping-off point and very often different from the live version.

I just liked the video for a second time. lol. Yes I’m one of those that will go ahead and watch a reaction for a second time while I’m a little buzzed and pretend I’ve never seen it before and then relike it, lol. Hence all the lol’s………. lol? Anyways I love your reactions better than most of the rest and I’m sad that your Tool journey is basically over and happy to watch you absorb the other Maynard projects. And for the second time…… I love the comparison to Andre 3000. When it comes to rap I consider that form of expression to be purely based on a beat and lyrics and of course production. But to me with rap if the beat or lyrics suck than it sucks because that’s basically what rap is in my humble opinion. Anyways, long live the legends of music…. And Maynard will eventually be one of them. I’m not talking about just legends of their day….. I mean “All time”. Same with Andre, that is all✌️
