I just wanted to point out that I'm actually the original creator of this map.
This version however has been edited by someone else. I'm actually liking the fact that they turned it into an invasion based map instead of invasion slayer.

Yeah i agree. I used to make invasion maps too. But sadly. I don't have them anymore and i unfortunately cannot retain how to make the maps now either.
yeah i remember there being several really cool minigames and maps that made great use of how you could make a map change depending on the different phases
Iirc bungie cut a swbf style mode like this because it wasn't running properly on the 360
They were surprised by the money the game generated and half of them found cocaine

What's funny about armor lock is that it's made ability is also its greatest flaw as soon as somebody turns on armor lock you already have an automatic counter towards the ability itself given that there's no enemies around. What's frustrating is when you're going to get the guy he uses armor lock and then his buddies coming behind now that is very frustrating

Not sure if this will ever come up again, but when destroying a falcon, stand on the pilot window, punch the window 3-4 times (depending on damage to falcon), then throw a grenade. Or just a few shots from an AR or magnum. If you want to be real fancy you can give it an extra punch, and jump backwards at the same time. You won't take much if any damage and falcon is blown up without your asting all your ammo and nades.

I made an invasion map that has real working pelican and covenant drop pods where the ODST drop down on an elite training facility on forge world and assault / Rush their way up plant the bomb at the very end of the map pretty fun
You should host a custom game lobby on the browser! Sounds fun!
@@IVOLUKE I have a few kinks to work out. For some reason despite setting the spawn locations correctly and red teams not spawning where they should be until they kill theirselves as soon as they first spawn. Idea why that is? I really want to get this map out there but I do want to iron out some of the problems before hosting it.

@@IVOLUKE sadly that's the one I watched and everything else works but the initial spawn. Maybe I'll put two different types of spawn points that do the same thing I don't know they say to use Hill markers instead that's what I did. Hmm, will fix this somehow and let you know
Very nice work. Reminds me of a series of Invasion Maps I made back on Reach (xbox), especially with the ships made out of map pieces...the Forge World budget was almost never enough for everything I wanted to throw in, haha.
I used to edit various maps that people made and turn them into Invasion maps. Later on I'd make my own maps completely. Great times indeed! I'll be making videos about them in the near future 👍

@@IVOLUKE I mean I think I did fairly well but if you watch the kill feed I traded kills a lot. I still managed to go on a few streaks but I feel like I could be so much better at reach in general

@@IVOLUKE I find it hard to practice cause the majority of people playing reach multiplayer are the ones who've been playing it since 2010 and it's very hard to improve when there are people who dont miss.
I feel you. I've fought against the best players across the world. Were it not for that my skills would not be as good as they are now. Of course it could be frustrating sometimes fighting those as good as you or even better but trust me it helps dramatically! One of my cousins taught me the best way to get better at basketball is to play against people better than you. That same principle applies to video games! 🤘

I played this last night, all it boiled down to was the Spartan team abusing holes in the roof to fall down right in front of the objective. Almost like it was specifically built to be a better experience as Spartans.

Wait 343 added the Target Designator to Reach's MP as an option to use? I played Reach for years on the 360 and i don't remember using it in match outside FF and Campaign.
They added it in the MCC it's in customs only

I do spawn on some of my teammates in this game. You can't see it because I'm recording everything using theater and the xbox dvr.

So, there is a way to get the enemy ball without waiting in the blue area on the covenant ship.
If you're referring to the core there's only two entrances the main hallway and from the cracks in the roof
Only thing that held Reach back was only allowing 16 players per map. Should have been 32 for custom games.
I wish. I don't think the 360 Xbox could handle so many players in one game that's why the limit has always been 16. Now it should definitely be possible to have at least 24 players in a game just like Halo 5 warzone and Halo Infinite BTB have

What class of ship is the mothership supposed to be?
I think the covenant ship is a corvette. The U.N.S.C. ship idk maybe a smaller version of the Pillar of Autumn.

Mainly because I like armor lock🔒 the plasma repeater is just part of the loadout

Do those falcons not have turrets??
There are 4 versions of the falcon:
The normal falcon from og Reach
The transport falcon without guns
The gunner falcon with regular turrets
The gunner falcon with grenade launcher turrets
The falcons from mcc Reach allow up to 5 passengers so 6 total players can be in these falcons

Go on the custom game browser and click on browse. Right now every custom game is only Reach but there are usually 15 - 30 different games being played everyday. Hopefully they add H3 in the mix soon!
