FINDING BIG Summer Bass in Underwater Trees - Lake Lanier Spotted Bass

In this video, we seek out big spotted bass holding on underwater trees (brush piles) on Lake Lanier. The fishing is tough this time of year as most fish are still recovering from the spawn, forcing us to shift into more finesse tactics than usual. We found some solid patterns, and got on some good sized fish throughout the day.

How would I catch fish from the bank of Lanier or would it be better to get a and if so how would I find fish without electronics

We don’t get to fish from the bank a lot but if I did I would target points and rocky areas on the bank. Typically rock on the bank extends out into the water and holds fish.
The Humminbird one-boat app chart is a great way to find some of these locations.

Guys I really enjoy watching your videos, can you tell us a little more about the type , size and color swimbaits you were using to catch these fish, i fish for spotted bass down in central Georgia and I really would like to try to use the same thing!!!
