as expected, every game from Supergiant are either 9/10 or 10/10.

granted I played it and I agree, the game stayes with you after you beat it. I was very moved by the ending
If you think Pyre stays with you why don't you play What Remains of Edith Finch.

That's a hell of A review. This is the type of review that makes you want to play a game even if you weren't interested in it before.
This game has me like a good book. Literally. There's a lot of reading.
My new favorite Supergiant game... and it's basically NBA Jam for geeks. I'm really astonished with how much effort they put into these characters and the world itself, for such a unique and likely very-niche game. I know exactly what you mean by "I won't be able to get it out of my head for a long time". Now I just hope they're willing to put it on Switch (and even mobile).
I'm getting this when I get home tonight. Loved Bastion and Transistor and this looks even better.

The first thing I thought when I saw this game was that this looks like a supergiant game. How identifiable there beautiful game astetic is.

First off, Jen Zee has to be one of the best artists in the industry right now. IMO.
thinking about this game makes me feel all teary. It's crazy to think that I ignored it for well over a year after it's release, and now it's my favorite Supergiant game, and really is what solidified me as a Supergiant fan.
There's something about SGGames's releases that makes it a completely different experience to watch than to play. I always saw both Transistor and Bastion gameplay way back and even when I had them at the start I still found them boring. When I really got in there though it was something else. Feel the same way about this game, but I know if I get in on my hands I know I'll love it.

For me, it deserves a solid 9.5, but that's because at least 60% of the game is basically a VN, and I really like visual novels. The art and soundtrack is where the game really shines, and the gameplay, even though it's not THAT deep, is certainly fun and engaging more often than not (specially after you get access to Pyre's version of limiters).
Still, while it might not be for everyone, it's a very good looking visual novel/sport game with some neat rpg elements, and if you really like the characters (which is pretty hard to avoid), you'll probably end up playing at least 10 hours nonstop like I did.
great game with numerous outcomes, even if you loose the rituals. So many differents endings and paths.
Finished bastion twice, want to start playing transistor. Now pyre is on sale for 4.99. I think it’s totally worth iT .
Not quite feeling this one as much as Bastion or Transistor because I don't feel like it's an intimate experience with a character, but the polish is still there and praiseworthy.
Does anybody know how to exit the game via the menu on PS4? There is no exit to game menu or anything. Do you have do it manually and exit back to the PS4 dashboard?

What do you mean. This came way before Hades. This is Supergiants 3rd game, Hades is 4th.

+Russsl Llll This year is STACKED. Easily the best since 2010/2011: Zelda BOTW, Prey, Horizon, Yakuza, Nier, Tekken, Mario Kart, Persona 5, RE7, Crash and Splatoon. Mario's not even out yet...either one.

Ergo Proxy Well just because sales aren't super high doesn't mean it's hidden. Look at NeiR:Automata. Low sales for the type and quality of the game but it gets praised endlessly and most people have heard of it.
How much is the game? It looks visually stunning but the gameplay and story also looks interesting 🤔

I just wanted to know how the game played and if it was fun, but of course IGN needs to bamboozle me with cryptic nonsense in the first minute.
