Yes the long yeti arms do get hung up pretty easily. I’ve been much happier with the gatekeeper trailing arms for general trailing since they are shorter and offer better ground clearance.
Is this kit still available to buy? Or is there something else that can be used instead? Would really love to convert my Trailruner . Hope to hear good news soon, fnx keep up the great work.
I think this has potential, but for me I would run shorter length trailing Arms & then with some thought, somehow bolt them to the chassis near the skid. I might look into designing some sorta bracket as to not lose ground clearance (Brainstorming lol) I'm worried this set up will impede your crawling ability, I already run into issues with straight links hitting obstacles when climbing. with the custom bent links it's helped a ton. I think the brackets are just to low & will definitely get ya hung up on rocks & obstacles. I guess it depends on what type of crawling /trailing you do also tho... 👍🏼
You are absolutely correct! This suspension system is much more speed oriented than crawling. I think you would like my gatekeeper version of this kit which uses gatekeeper trailing arms that are much shorter and offer much better ground clearance. I currently have a gatekeeper version installed on my truck.
Oh wow I might have to do that to mine. It looks like it doesn’t it affects the “crawl ability” of it. Would be an all around fun but still functional truck.
I wished I had done more research, I took apart my Enduro. Then I discovered that the gatekeeper trailing arms. Do not bolt on, without extra parts. I will be ordering your kit in the comments weeks.
There is a lot of variants of the enduro at this point so I understand how you might be confused. I look forward to doing business with you! Thanks for watching!
Got another prerunner video dropping today, great products as always dude, have a good weekend and a happy friday
Just checked it out! Thanks again for your support!
Are the parts for the conversion available?
I have a set of these and they indeed hang up a lot on the crawler so I took them off but they’ll be going on a Pre runner style build soon.

I can't wait to put some more run time on mine! Just makes me want to put a faster motor in it!

What is the best shock oil for the stock shocks in the gatekeeper?
Would definitely be nice with a faster motor and some sand dune oriented scale mods..
Do you have more planned for the truck?
For sure! I'll eventually be setting this up to run faster but I am not sure on which motor to go with yet.
@@ExtremeRC4x4 How about an 8T Crawlmaster Sport? That's what I'm planning on running with the stock ESC.
