It looks like they changed the signs this morning, but omitted to tell the Guards the rules about not touching the reins had been changed to not touching the horses. How embarrassing for the Guards!
Not much point in having a sign that says don't touch the horse if the guard is going to turn a blind eye. At about 7minutes in one guy looked like he was holding the bridle and still the guard said nothing. Then they wonder why the horses start nipping, when tourists are constantly mauling the horse.
The signs were put up overnight, and the Blues and Royals only came on late this afternoon . It's possible ,they don't know yet. I would give it a few days yet to see if there are any repercussions.
These tourists should read the sign in front of them if they need help with it there is an application on there phone to put it in there languages. Wait until the Asian people give peace signs, and thumbs up, and also other people think they are models while taking pictures of themselves. Wonderful change! Looking forward to seeing it enforced so that the horses are left alone. That said a few of the horses have loved the pats from tourists, and in ways it might be more confusing to some horses that loads of people just stand and look at them all day without showing them, the horses, that they are friendly. But mostly it's really a huge improvement.

It’s about time to save the horse who stands in one place for one hour at the Kings Guards quarters London. The tourists scratch, pet, fondles the horses. Sometimes two or three people touching the horse’s nose, mouth, and head! No wonder some horses bite hair, clothes, arms, hands, handbags and fingers in return. These horses stand at 18 hands. Sometimes I have watched parents place their small children in front of the animals as well ! - Then stand back to take a photo! These horses are still able to be spooked, and I suppose a horse can be in a good mood, or irritable mood. At any moment the horse can literally take off. So, for Gods sake, take yr photo and quickly stand aside!

I would suspect that the don’t touch the horse is more of a legal bum cover, if the idiots get bitten, they can point out the double warning of horses bite and kick and it clearly states don’t touch. You could have as many signs as possible but they will still rein grab, maul and stick their fingers near the horses mouth teasing it or when the horses head swing and nip at them they’ll just laugh and stand there 🤦♀️

what is the point in saying don't touch the horse if they still touch it this was made so the poor horse got left alone clearly people are not reading the sign maybe they should put it on the side of the horse box in big bold letters !! found this so annoying. No one says anything to the folks that touch the horse. Perhaps it would be clearer if sign says DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING. Horse is still going to be stress until this problem is solved in certain languages.

Oh WOW! That is a new sign with the new rule! It's about time. Now they need to have someone there to enforce the rule. It should never have been allowed in the first place. It's really a miracle that none of the horses, soldiers or tourists have been seriously injured as a result of tourists doing stupid things to the horses. I would suspect that the don’t touch the horse is more of a legal bum cover, if the idiots get bitten, they can point out the double warning of horses bite and kick and it clearly states don’t touch. You could have as many signs as possible but they will still rein grab, maul and stick their fingers near the horses mouth teasing it or when the horses head swing and nip at them they’ll just laugh and stand there 🤦♀️

Why is the guard not telling them not to touch. Once one does it they will all do it like a load of sheep. Its not going to work if they're not told. Some can't read english and some don't bother to read sign. This is so agrivating.

The signs don't mean jack s**t. The horse could have rabies and spitting fire. If your not going to follow your own rules then get rid of all signs. It's called being a hypocrite. The animal abuse will never stop until the guards stop. The only exception to these rules is someone with a disability or someone who is blind. I should not have to explain to you why.
