On the girl who hit the horse....the guard couldn't see her doing it the 1st two times. It's hard to see directly in front of the horse from the saddle.

One woman I saw, got bellowed at *three* times to let go of the reins, and each time, she went straight back to get hold of the reins once more....ok, she was clearly foreign, but surely she'd have been able to work out what she was doing wrong?

The look of astonishment, the laughter and the attempted rein clutching AGAIN, is mindboggling. People have to realize, the guards are put in danger. I can guarantee they have all seen these videos and are doing this just for a reaction. They will spoil it for everyone, eventually, wanting a photo because it will, inevitably, be banned to go anywhere near these beautiful WORKING animals. It’s not just tourists that do this.

I can't understand why they feel it necessary to touch these horses, it should be illegal to fo so, some of these poor horses get so stressed, you can see how stressed they are, there should be an exclusion zone for tourists.
The sooner they stop people standing beside the guard and horses the better. There should be a barrier to stop them patting the horses.
I believe IQ, reading and critical thinking skills of tourists has had an epic fail.

People's stubbornness has no limits. The worst thing is that seeing the sign that warns not to touch the horses and the guards and also the reins of the horses and they do it as if it were nothing. Either they pretend to be blind and deaf or they don't know how to read English. IMHO!

Leave aside all of the stuff around respect for the military, tradition, pageantry, royalty, etc., & I'm still left with the simple fact that these people should not be allowed this close to the horses.
It's not just the grabbing of the reins or snuggling up to the Guard as though it's an Instagram theme park, it's the gobsmacked giggles and self-important effrontery after being shouted at.
The security of the guard is paramount, I don't understand why a perimeter cannot be made so that the public can only. put their hands on the horse even the guard soldier.

I can’t believe the lady with the pink scarf was laughing at other people after the guards give them a warning, when she was the one pestering the holy hell out of the guards for days, and wouldn’t listen to a damn thing they said to her.

The second one wasn't grabbing the reins. She was just petting the horse and it grabbed her hand.
This a blatant show of gross disrespect! The very fact that the Crown allows people to get their picture taken with the horse and Guard is a very gracious courtesy. Courtesies can be revoked.
