As always thank yo so much for breaking it all down Marc... I LOVE all three of the Interlude family... I also have the old school click cap for original and I agree that it projects more than 53... I think it's because of the concentration of the oil that it does not dissipate and radiate the same way as the OG original... But because of the oil content 53 seems to NEVER want to leave... ^_^ I can not wait until you get a full bottle and really start to compare the 3 fragrances to each other... They are all so wonderful... Awesome job as always my man...
Definitely next on the shelf. Without any hype 53 is amazing. Forget OG Interlude this one is on it's own. After a while smokiness will be coming out of all the sweetness in the begging.
Watching now. First , and foremost, Great review as always. I am a huge fan of your Samplin Samples. Indeed, I recently committed to sampling my own huge cache of samples! 😂 Second, I confess to being a major Amouage Fanboy and I adore Interlude Man!! 🤷🏽♂️ Third, I concur that it was a great call to return Pierre for this Flanker. Lastly, I really love 53! I find it a bit smoother and warmer than the original. You’re correct that it’s all very subjective and personal. Me? I am so glad/fortunate to own both. I wear them differently. Cheers
got interlude thought i wouldnt like black iris and its my go to when i go out now. i just cant imagine what it was like at amouage when they were planning what to do next and somebody said. 'why dont we make it stronger.' damn
Great sampling!! Interlude is in my top five Amouage fragrances, I was lucky enough to get a sample at the beginning of my journey, when I was subscribed to Scentbird, I remember I was afraid to try it, because all of the legends attached to it 😆 what a big surprise, on my skin is more ambery sweet with that beautiful oregano note, I prefer it in the heat of the summer 35° C+ cause in the winter it gets a little bitter and darker on my skin. Definitely I don’t need the extrait, I was lucky enough to get an older non magnetic cap bottle, I prefer to wait for the rumored Jubilation XXV extrait, that one needs more oomph at least on my skin. Thanks for the Samplin Marc!!!
Perfect review! It's pushing me over edge to get this one, I'm bing fan of Interlude and have original older bottle and black iris since day it came out, I blind bought it even though I stopped doing that for a long time. I was thinking three might be too much but I'm just too big fan to skip it I think :) This video reminded me for sure of all the good stuff I love in Interlude one of my favourites along with Jubilation. One thing you mentioned about complexity, and stages that was what drawn me long time ago to initial release, realising that even next day it just keeps evolving and skin and showing different facets until you wash it off. Thanks for this great review!
Oregano actually overtook basil as my favourite herb to cook with last year. Whereas basil is essentially the smell of cloves, oregano is essentially the smell of a pencil. Just take out the pine nuance from cedar and that's it. Very woody stuff. Thyme smells almost the same. But the combination of oregano and dill makes for some excellent pizza crust I can tell you. 😆 Awesome description btw. Haven't tried the 53 myself, but the blue beast is certainly a legend of the old comm.
Haven't tried this one yet, but I enjoy the original Interlude. Try to get your nose on Reflection 45 if you haven't already. Nice upgrade over the OG Reflection.
I have the magnetic cap version of the O.G. I get only about average projection, but I tend to wear it in early fall when it's just starting to get cold anyway so, as it's fine. I don't think I'll be picking this up(although it's VERY tempting!) I got too many newer frags on my wishlist right now. I tried Black iris & even though I loved it's smoother opening than the o.g., I decided it was just too similar to be worth the purchase. Interlude & Memior are my favorites from the house, so that could change in the future
Hello! I recommend trying out Lorenzo Pazzaglia’s line of fragrances, it’s starting to get some buzz around the community And im pretty sure all of his fragrances are 30-40% concentration, Lorenzo is a chef turned perfumer! I own Van Py Rhum and it’s a joy to wear, his line is full of boozy dark fragrances that im sure you would love… Im looking at trying out Fom Next which I think translates to smoke in some sort of Italian dialect, and then choco raptor is also on the list for me to try it Edit: also his line has just started to Drop on Lucky scent
@@robes08 Fom would be my suggestion to try out very hard to get a hold of and I don’t think there’s a single English review on UA-cam 😝 supposedly smells like a smokier baraonda
I love the original and Black Iris, but have not tried this one yet. I'll have to try and find a decant. I can't deal with Lucky Scent's dabbers, scents just don't bloom on me unless they've been properly atomized. On the hunt I go! Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
The magnetic cap formulations of Interlude Man are very average in the performance department, same goes for the Black Iris, and most of the Amouages currently being sold, their quality fell off a cliff. 53 is exactly twice better performance-wise and has a prominent bergamot note. Now, to be fair in comparisons, it makes a whole lot sense to compare the new releases with the current formulations of whatever they’re being compared with. Otherwise it’s like comparing raw meat with grilled, sure it’s still meat, but you know. I own 25 Amouage bottles, out of which three of the original Interlude and one 53, and 53 is a must have, hands down their best release, in fact Interlude was like a blueprint for a bunch of their other releases. Thanks for the review, agreed on all counts.
Interlude Man, whether the original or this new release, means nothing without the Oregano. This fragrance has a specific / special fan base. It’s not for the mass. Let it be appreciated and cherished by those who admire it. 😂

Hey stranger!!!! When are you going to put out another video?

I love that the Goat has returned and has blessed us with so many videos as of late.
🙏
I loved my sample. Another that's on my wish list. So many fragrances to buy! I have Reflection 45 & that one's truly magical.
Definitely next on the shelf. Without any hype 53 is amazing. Forget OG Interlude this one is on it's own. After a while smokiness will be coming out of all the sweetness in the begging.
I actually just got Ref. 45, can't wait to sniff it.
Oohhh.. Can't wait for the Jubi extrait
It's announced or ... ? As I'm getting older extrait parfum are more my thing. Long lasting with moderate projection.
@@Frank-DuxVanDamme strong rumors

Black Iris is my #1. Or is it Royal Tobacco? Depends how i’m feeling i guess but Amouage are a top quality brand without doubt.

don't tease me with that Jubby
@@robes08 From the teaser pic that Mr Salmon published in his instagram I hope we don’t have to wait much…
I already knew you would buy this one. I'm not surprised at all.
lol you know me.
God how beautiful Interlude is, it makes me feel closer to God every time I wear it 😢
Now that's a neat trick
@@robes08Is it stronger and better quality than the original Interlude?
Great video and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed day

Dill on the crust? Well I will have to try that, I put oregano in my pizza sauce but never on the crust.

I may get a sample pack of all the extrait including Reflection, might be all worth a sniff.

This one can be worn more casually, more versatile than Black Iris or OG in short.
hope you found a little decant of this.

Can you review Amouage Overture?
it's in my unboxing queue

When I wore it last someone said it smelled like bubblegum lol
That can't be right? can it?
Hard to tell the difference in them But it doesn’t feel like I’m standing out so much like with the original
that's too bad, it's a great scent
I find 53 to be more sweeter smokey while interlude man 2nd version is more herbal
Appreciate your take on it!
why my nose smell that perfume very nutty??..
All noses are different. Something nutty in the scent gravitates for you

Nuke just from my luckyscent sample.
From sampling samples to buy a full bottle 😅
It took 2 seconds 😂…. Marc almost pause his record to do the buying process
it's pretty easy sometimes to know if you'll buy or not.
not like interlude at all, smells like a curry herbal shop, i leave eating curry but i dont want to smell like it 😢
lol this comment made me laugh
