One of Persolaise's best episodes yet! Wonderful vid! Amouage is just one of those brands that I never got into due to the Arabian theme, which tends to lean uber masculine, and price. Now that I'm further along with my fragrance journey where price considerations have greatly weakened, and after watching this video, I think it's time to try them again. 😅
While my bank accounts may not thank you for this video, *I* certainly do. ;-) Thank you so much for letting us know about this exquisite-sounding concoction! 💙
I know what you mean about bank accounts!
Thank YOU very much for watching and writing.
thanks for the cool and the detailed review, do you think that using this beast over months would become boring ? like many other fragrances which are boring to wear after couple or more times
Thanks for watching. I can't really comment on this, because I never wear the same scent, day in, day out.
@@Persolaise yeah that sounds reasonable, until now i couldn’t decide to buy it, im afraid that most people won’t like it if they smell it on me coz it’s a conplex fragrance
One of my favorite perfumes/attars of all time is Amouage's Tribute .
I have a good number of perfumes from this house. Some pre magnetic , some not.
Some straight from Amouage in UK, some from the Emirates , some from the discounters.
My favorite is a purse spray of Amouages Amber Attar.
Completely legit. Got it on basenotes from a very respected member.
Top notch presentation with the purse spray .
Huge fan of Interulde.
Got some Clive's today.
FYI , wow, did they change Clive's L for Men. Well, that's no longer actually, now it's L masculine.
Why did they change L for Men ? Silly.
Got the 10 ml travel set , C L and V for $100.
L , if the lavender stayed with it for a longer period, the ISO E and woody aroma chemicals wouldn't be so forward.
Yes, you heard it .
Save you money and get TdH or Guerlain's Vetiver.
V is like a CdG or Oliver's Black Tourmaline .
V's not bad, I like these types, but I like them to be meditative.
Taha's Oud Lubani is just that. Approachable too.
Expensive though, but at least worth the asking price . V, not so.
C is still the refined Tuscan Leather. I do very much like it , and I am glad I got a little more of it.
LONG LIVE the LEATHERS.
Oh, I got another decant of Annick's Ambre Fetiche.
Now that's a good one.
Thank you for all you do for us here on You Tube.
Not at all -- thank YOU for watching. And for this tempting list of scented delights.
Loving the "standard" interlude version. Just purchased a new bottle (batch 2021) and smells amazingly. Nevertheless is not a beast mode as the rumors say. Maybe one of the best from Amouage. Overture is another one :)
Fabulous live as always and I learn such a lot as I always do . Very embarrassing but I have never tried any amouage at all as rather price prohibiting for me but never say never . I hope you are resting your voice now and that you feel 100% again soon . X
They're not cheap, that's for sure. But some of them are so stunning, in a really grand, operatic, uncompromising way.
@@Persolaise which would you suggest I try as samples ? I probably want to try about four for now .
@@angelajuneholmes4933 Gosh, now there's a question.
Okay... without over-thinking it... Gold Woman, Epic Woman, Lyric Woman, Ashore, Opus III, Jubilation 25.
@@Persolaise very many thanks ! I will see if I can get a few of these to try cheaply enough x eek 😬
Got 1ml samples of ashore ‘ epic woman and not one on your list but interlude woman for now . Thank you 😊
Wonderful review.....
I guess the new creative guy at Amouage will do great things hopefully
Interlude man edp is already great, this new release sounds even more heavenly!
I can't wait to smell this version of my beloved Interlude. I can't find that 10ml bottles that you have, even on the official Amouage website. Any idea where I can buy it? Greetings!
Here you go: www.amouage.com/travel/men-s-travel-sprays-refills/interlude-trilogy-set.html
Thanks for watching.
@@Persolaise Thank you so much. So weird it didn't show when I was checking that.
Hi again Mr Persolaise. I received my beautiful bottle of 53 today and obviously had a quick spritz. Initially on the opening the closest fragrance I could assimilate it too would be halfetti cedar by Penhaligons crossed with TF Plum Japonaise. What say you?
Lordy ! So we had Interlude Man but that was considered to beasty ! The edges were polished and smoothed and we had Black Iris.. Now we get 53 which Im told by a staff member at Amouage is a stronger version of Black Iris ! Im confused !
Interlude 53 is an extrait (ie more concentrated) form of the original Interlude Man edp.
Thanks for watching 😊
@@Persolaise Can I ask you one more question please.. Does it follow in your opinion the scent has improved with each new incarnation ? I mean can you see people sticking by the original or is Black Iris an obvious improvement on Interlude and 53 the next level again ? Thank you
Persolaise, when you say 'the original EDP from 2012' do you mean the pre-reformulation (friction cap) version of' Interlude Man' or are you just distinguishing it from Black Iris?
Oh, definitely just distinguishing it from Black Iris. I try not to get too involved in reformulation debates.
Thanks for watching.
I hope you review new release boundless & material by amouage soon..
Waiting ⏳🙂
What is the overpowering smell that first hits you? This one was not for me. Had to have a shower after trying it. Kilian Back to Black also has a milder version of this ingredience.
That’s a shame. For me, it’s that charred gunpowder, molten plastic smell.
Thanks for watching.
Damn 53. Longevity - 1 week and 3 days
Lol no I was just jking because the original is so strong already I can only imagine what the interlude 53 will be like.
Love the channel. Clean classy and colourful reviews.
Very kind, thank you.
