Can anyone help me with the order of how to play these abilities in a scenario that recently came up. I’m playing the mando starter deck so he is my leader that allows me to exhaust a unit when I play an upgrade. My opponent has an exhausted chebaca sentinel that “readies” when attacked. I play an upgrade (snapshot reflexes) that allows me to attack with attached unit. So I attack chewbaca sentinel. I when does my leaders ability trigger and gets to exhaust a unit ? Before or after I attack and before or after the chewy sentinel gets to “ready” I’m thinking: Play snapshot and immediately attack with unit (I attack chewy) Cause chewy is attacked, he readies And now I can use my leader ability to exhaust chew because I played an upgrade
I think you have it right. Both the When Played effect on Snapshot Reflexes and the When Played effect on The Mandalorian have the same timing, so you can choose the order. In this case, using Snapshot Reflexes first and then the exhaust trigger (as you say) would be a good idea.
The 12-12-12 rule - is there expected to be some overlap between the 12s? For example, can one of the 12 starting hand units in the calculation be Green Squadron X-Wing, which would also count as one of the 12 space units?
BananaCrapshoot already covered it - he’s the one who came up with this rule - but yes, overlap is likely and in fact desirable, at least when it comes to opening units and space units! Most nonunit cards aren’t opening plays (and of course aren’t space units) but there might be some exceptions, like Entrenched or Force Choke as turn 1 control cards in certain low unit count builds.
Great tips. Your channel is seriously underrated. Thank you!
Thanks! Any topics you'd like to see me cover more?
What a great lesson, congrats on the video!
Glad you liked it!
The odds tool is so fun! Thanks for sharing!
Who knew that Han was talking about a hyper geometric calculator when he said "never tell me the odds"
Hella appreciate this video.
Thanks! Any other topics you'd like to see covered?
Nice pointers, finished second at my first draft with your b.a.r.o.n video. Thanks 🎉
Happy to help!

You forgot to put the calculator link in the description
Thanks for pointing that out -- fixed now!

Good question
Yes
