This is coolest mod so far.
Say what you will about the way rockstar handles their online games. But the snowy maps in gta online and especially in red dead online are really cool, it does make the whole map feel different. It would be so cool if KCD did the same thing.

2:45 that is a height map issue, a height map is a texture map designed to simulate non-light affected "bumpiness" on a surface(usually according to that surface texture. This happens when it is not properly set up, im gonna guess they used it to make snow look less flat.

How do you do stealth in a snowy landscape? especially with Henry's green/red clothes? :P
Looks nice, but realism goes out of the window. What I like on KCD is that walking in the woods has the same feeling like walking outside (as I am from Czech rep). It get me through the lockdown. Forest in winter does not look like that at all. The leaves should be down!

I actually got the game in release back in the day when it was far more buggy, I’m returning to it now. Funnily enough, it’s after my first play through of Cyberpunk, in which I’m deciding that I’ll do a second when it’s in a better state. Your play through back in 2019 has been really useful to me.

I dont think seasons could work with the story. At the end of the game capon says to you 'how long have we known each other, a few weeks' its a cool idea but not viable in story
I love the concept of adding seasons in Kingdom Come: Deliverance but I think it would destroy the real part of the game because all of the events that are in the game actually happened in 1403. Nice video!

Not a problem at all, the story could be several years long - with time jumping for a main quest of course. Game play/event, possible video clip, time jump, possible video clip, game play/event.... A million of side quests would be more normal in that way as well. But it would be a good idea (beside seasons) to also have crossbows, hand cannons, dagger fighting, better implementation of pole arms, swimming, more animals (wolfs, bears, foxes, European bison's,...), chess, usable carriages and boats, different coinages, possible family and farm/estate/castle, possibility of more severe survival elements,... even more realistic game. Perhaps there could be an option of a few profiles for your character (the looks). All of this would make a game harder to make, but also even better.

If they'd add seasons in KCD2 then you'd have to spend potentially hundreds of days in the game unless there'd be some big time jumps.

I'm pretty sure Vavra would be unhappy with the fact, that with the snow it should be winter, flowers wouldn't be visible and people would wear different clothes and have different routines. Winter is not just snow on the ground :)

Actually yes, I was quite surprised. I have Roxy's voice connected with comedy, but singing in the beginning was and quite good, without any jokes. There are certainly multiple layers to our Roxy.

Nah, this doesnt look good enough for the game. All the attention to detail would be wasted, winter here looks different, all those trees with leaves lose them, snow covers the grass, water surfaces freeze, everything gets more glossy and if you hit tree snow falls on you.

@@Armmigic It just changed textures. Winter is different entirely. This game pays huge attention to every detail, every tree is real kind, every flower exists in real world and those used in alchemy are indeed medicinal herbs. This mod just does not recreate winter season well enough to help the game.
@@Pyrochemik007 Padfoot potions literally use cobwebs as an ingredient. Might be a little room for unrealistic elements.

I just got this game and am absolutely loving it.. but does anyone else have a bug where campfires at night have an annoying flickering effect that looks terrible? (Xbox) It's not game breaking but it sure as hell is immersion breaking🤦♂️

Honestly seasons aren’t the greatest idea. Warhorse tries to go for a set date in a tweaked “historical” timeline and adding season systems means that years go by which would mean they’d have to make history happen and continue which would be too much
