Orthodox Celts version of the song makes me want to embark in an epic adventure, Followship of the Ring style. The High Kings version makes me feel invincible. Like I can fight a hundred men at once. Dubliners version always brings me peace of mind. I can feel my worries fading, best heard with a fresh pint on hand. No matter what the version one prefers. The High Kings version makes me feel invincible. Like I can fight a hundred men at once.
Dubliners version always brings me peace of mind. I can feel my worries fading, best heard with a fresh pint on hand.
No matter what the version one prefers. We can all agree "Rocky Road to Dublin" truly is a beautiful song. God bless the Irish.

I can't believe I have fallen so much in love with this song that I went from The Dubliners, to The High Kings, to the Connacht Kings, and now the Orthodox Celts. This version beats out the Connacht Kings by a mile! Brings me back to my Irish roots!

I have noticed many similarities between the culture of the Balkans (serbia, macedonia) and Ireland
