    Try the Percept 100D next, could be a possible switch for you!

    I would order one right away but I am terrified it will come terribly overspec. like my Head Speed Pro that has 340 strung SW. 🤬

    Something that is curious about the new Pure Strike is that the stiffness of the 100 head size is lower than the 98. I didn't see that in any other rackets on the market.

    I come from playing for 2 years with a babolat pure aero 2019 prostock rim 100, I want a lot of stability and control but for it to be manageable, the options I have in mind ordered from best to worst: 1-babolat pure strike 100 - 16x20. 2-head speed pro 18x20 legend. 3-yonex percept 100D. 4-head gravity pro auxetic 2.0. The problem I see is that some are very heavy, I would like you to tell me, coming from the pure aero 2019, which of all of these would give me more stability and directional control by crushing the ball, I am an aggressive baseline player who wants to finish the points in 2 or 3 hits, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

      I've just been demoing the pure strike (16x20) and the speed pro (18x20). They are very different, in more than weight. The speed pro gives almost zero pop off the racket, so you have to be ripping it to get good depth, tried the pure strike and it worked great. Not as plush of a feel, but much better depth, and a lot of control for how much pop it was getting.
      If you're coming from an Aero, I would not recommend the 18x20 speed. I haven't tried the other rackets you mentioned though. I've heard a lot of high praise on the precept 100D though.
      Make sure to demo whatever racket you use if it's an option. Tennis Warehouse will let you demo 3 rackets at a time for just the shipping cost.

    Previous pure strikes were killing and are currently killing elbows bigtime with a stiffness of 69 Ra, so I doubt that the stiffness of the current version is only 60 Ra like it's stated in the video. That's like the stiffness of a Head Speed MP, but compared to the Head Speed, the Pure Strike feels like a block of wood.

      @@Yeatlover43 Sorry to hear that, but I guess it's actually harder to find someone without arm issues after using that racquet for more than a year. 2 guys at my club got golfer's elbow from it and I'm the 3rd one.

      @@microphonemaster484 i had a combination of golfers and tennis elbow, plus an issue where my elbow and tricep connect which is what still bothers me to this day. Makes no sense how this racket was as popular as it was

      @sebastiandomagala9233 3 місяці тому +1

      I seriously doubt that any Babolat racquet deserves any sales figure at all.
      Until now. Aero 98 is quite a decent Stick, Strike has gone down in RA.
      The rest is just boardy crap. Played an opponent with PD 100. Such an easy victory, he just kept shooting balls far out. And such a shame, he's actually a decent player.

    • @microphonemaster484
      @microphonemaster484 3 місяці тому +2

      @@Yeatlover43 yes, the popularity makes little sense as there aren't even many top ranked players using it. I only know of D. Thiem and Alizé Cornet which both had elbow injuries and are retired now - not saying it's the racquets fault in their case, but I doubt it helped.

    As with all Babolats, the QC on the Strikes is pretty poor, so if you're serious about getting one on-spec, or at any given spec, you NEED to utilize a matching service from a retailer who offers it. TW is $30. TE is $10. Just do it. You'll be glad you did.

    Awesome vid as always. How you rate this racquet in terms of power compared to the ezone 98? Love my ezone I have good power but thinking what if I can get even more without losing control. Max serve speed is currently 106mph. Trying to hit 120mph. Wouldnt mind getting more help but not at the cost of control.

    Babolat FINALLY makes a flexible racquet with specs similar to the Head Gravity MP (which is a little lighter at 295 grams). It seems to have discontinued the Pure Strike 103 and replaced it with this model.

    This is a racket similar to the blade and the head speed. I use the h22 in my country there arent many options to non mainstream tennis brands like Volkle, Prince and Technifibre. The prince tour 98 is an amazing control racket in my opinion.There are also 100 options.

    This is my first Babolat (cannot gel with PD 100, PA 100, PA+, and PA 98) and its balance between comfort-stiffness with more powerful controlled beam made me dwell to Strike VS, too. The VS brings more feel and control.
