AB = Aktie-bolag (literally "share company" or "stock company") is the Swedish term for "limited company" or "corporation". When used in company names, it is abbreviated "AB" or "Ab" (roughly equivalent to the abbreviations Ltd and PLC).
I have this on CD. "Hep Stars, 1964-69!" It has the Olga Records imprint, as well as E.M.I. Svenska A.B. Like all of my Swedish CDs I had to import it. Anyway, I figure that "Svenska" means "Swedish," but I always see that followed with either AB or A.B. What does the AB signify? STAY AWESOME! :)
