    What is the use in lubricating the counter shaft where the front sprocket is placed? Because the shaft's design and purpose is to prevent slipping of the front sprocket.

      @@DipayanBose would be much much interesting since we have gem of a engine here. Only if gearing is sorted for higher top speed, yeah Mileage could take a hit but long gearing should become less of a hassle with torque curve.. Drive sprocket reduction would be interesting first step.., Anyways curious for your upcoming episodes 🙌✨

    Hello sir. Everything went well for me except the last part. While screwing in the gear shifter back, the nut is stuck mid way. Now it does not go inside or not does it come out. Kind of stuck in middle. Gear shifts work fine but the screw itself is not all the way in. Could you give some suggestions? Should i take it to service center

    Hey Dipayan - would you know if the RS gear lever is a direct swap with the Hness ?

    • @DipayanBose
      @DipayanBose  Рік тому +2

      No, not a direct swap. However I think with a little bit of more modification it is possible. You also need to replace the foot peg holder which would also result in change in the position of the pegs. I am not sure though.

      @@DipayanBose foot peg I do know Rs is rear set . But considering RS has half size gear lever and am wondering if it’s swappable. Also Hness lever is too long ( my feeling ), some swapped it with levers from other bikes. But thought why not RS lever itself but at same foot peg position.

      Probably the drive chain is over-tight. Take it to any good mechanic and tell him to loosen it a little and don’t forget to align the rear wheel properly when you do so. It should resolve the issue.

    • @DipayanBose
      @DipayanBose  Рік тому +1

      I can understand your concern Sir, however that’s the way the O ring sealed chains are nowadays in most bikes without chain cover. Cleaning and lubing them from time to time is the only solution we have.

    Can you advise

    • @DipayanBose
      @DipayanBose  3 місяці тому

      Readjusting the chain and then properly cleaning lubing it is the only solution. Have it done from a good mechanic. Need not be from Bigwing. Check the tightest position of the chain and adjust the play.

    • @rushadlentin7989
      @rushadlentin7989 3 місяці тому

      So should i check the tightest position in the centre and then adjust it to 30 mm slack?

    • @DipayanBose
      @DipayanBose  3 місяці тому

      @@rushadlentin7989 if you are checking from the tightest portion, then keep the slack at 15 to 20. Or else the loosen portion will become more loose. This is a trial and error basis job basically. Mostly all drive chains gather up and down slack with time. That’s their nature.
