    Use the slide lock when stacking on top of each other. The slide lock goes over the versa button and holds it. That’s a key point. You don’t need a gear tie.

    The tree lounge was under 30 lbs. it’s absolutely the most comfortable stand you could ever be in. I got some of the best sleep ever in one. Went after work one day and woke up at 330 am the next day and just continued hunting. lol

      My dad bought a tree lounge when I was a kid and I started using it in high school. I had to stop using it because I spent more time napping than hunting. Haha.

      @craiglandon7571 I don't doubt that one bit. I was napping one time and I heard trotting and thought deer! Well I tried to grab the gun out of the holders and I realized I couldn't. My left arm was asleep real bad and it took like 3 minutes to get it moving. Good thing it was only a coyote. Bad thing it was the biggest and fluffier and prettiest yote I've ever seen.

    I have the og Xop sticks very similar to these love them only complaint is how they connect together. Use them all last season using them season as well.

      Are they the single steps ones? If so those style are difficult for me I like have the double steps so I have both feet level when attaching the next stick/platform. I’ve also seen people switch the tops on them o a double so the bottom and middle steps are single and the top is a double

    I got these too bro. I just ended up taking those plastic peices off. Got tired of busing my knuckles. I use Nize ties or whtaever the are called and stack them side by side x4 and they carry without issue. Love these sticks for the price. The dig deep into tree. I also use Amsteel/Rope mod instead of those buckles.

      Ya man we have a strap can’t remember the name off the top of my head we are planning on maybe using rope mods I’ve always kind have looked down on them but I had some laying around and tried it out in these sticks and man they were pretty nice actually

    I'm pretty sure you were suppose to pull the bottom out of tethrd stick and then down after you have it set for the best bite. I've never had mine squeak like yours.

      I’ve used them since the gen ones and never had this issue I used these all last season with no issue I’ve seen it all over Facebook people have the same issue after use and after a while I had to sand the standoffs and they should not squeak

      @@thehuntingkure at $140 a stick you shouldn’t have to do anything to them. They should work flawlessly out of the box like the X2s do. I wouldn’t use anything from tethrd if it was given to me for free…I’d sell it and buy from a number of other companies that care more about putting out a quality product than they do quality marketing…

    Im looking for a new way to carry these. I dont really care for the black clips. They're a booger to pull apart, not a huge deal, but its gonna hurt on those cold mornings

    • @thehuntingkure
      @thehuntingkure  9 місяців тому

      Honestly what we will end up doing is just stacking them on top of each other either all four, or 2x2 and use a gear tie or keep them together

  • @rickgoing7027
    @rickgoing7027 10 місяців тому

    You're attaching the strap on the XOP wrong. You should have the soft end attached and then the part with the buckle over it to cinch both sides tight. That was actually in the Original Lone wolf company instructions. It was also to avoid hitting the buckle on the stand and sticks and causing the noise you were complaining about.

    • @thehuntingkure
      @thehuntingkure  10 місяців тому

      Ok so u throw the buckle around the tree? I still think it would be noisy banging off the tree and it’s still louder/heavier then a rope mode we have never had a problem with it not getting tight enough with buckle straps if ur super careful u won’t make noise but I still think there is better options. Thanks for the comment buddy good luck this seadon

    • @rickgoing7027
      @rickgoing7027 10 місяців тому +2

      @@thehuntingkure Reach the whole step around and grab the end. Then place the step in place and attach the buckle loop to the button. That way there is no throwing or banging.

    • @thehuntingkure
      @thehuntingkure  9 місяців тому

      Have you been on the Facebook classifieds there are tons of different/better ways to attach them on there (Amsteel guy and backwoods mobile are two website that come into mind that sells them) like daisy chains or rope mods idk if you already bought sticks but I’d give that route a look if you haven’t already
