Explain to me how banning immigration from countries who are reportedly organizing attacks against the US is a bad thing? Liberals need to understand the meaning of the word immigrant. Immigrants immigrate on the condition that they are wanting to assimilate to the country's culture, this is clearly not the case for Islamic immigration. People to whom rape is second nature, and religion is the controlling principle.

For those living in the US, you must wonder what people in other countries think of what your president is doing. Sometimes an outside perspective can show you things that you are too close to see from within.
It's worse than you think. Now over a million people in the UK have signed a petition asking for a parliamentary review, to try and block the planned visit by Trump to the UK later this year. They feel his visit would be an embarrassment to the Queen. The vast majority of independent foreign news agencies have come out with shock and outrage over violation of the Geneva convention, with one important exception. Russia.

Have you been to the Middle East? I have been there and lived there several years, and been out to several different countries. I've been to Qatar, UAE, Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan and the outskirts of Mecca, Saudi Arabia seeing I was a non-muslim man, they didn't allow me in certain sections.
When I was in Qatar the second richest country per-capita in the world. I saw a young woman drug out into the streets. They took her to this man made island called "The Pearl" in Doha, Qatar. They dug a hole, put her into it, and then began bashing her face in with a stoning. I was only 23 years old there for work. I had no idea what I was witnessing, but it was a stoning. In the second richest country in the world per-capita.
I visited Dubai, UAE several months afterwards. I witnessed an astonishing event occur. A young man was convicted of being gay. He was drug to the top of a decently sized building in "The Circle" a small marketplace near The Burj Khalifa. they drug him to the top, and tossed him off of it. He died afterwards. Dubai is like the Las Vegas of the Middle East, but they still kill gays... People who just are being who they are in life.
When, I was in Iraq. I went to the beach of Kuwait City off the coast of the Arabian Sea. She went in a bikini. She was quite a beautiful woman, which she also was one of the nicest human beings you'd eve meet. The men on the beach harassed her, and screamed at her to put on a burka or a hajab. One man even threated me once, but seeing I'm a 6'3 in -shape, deep voiced & shaved head man. He was a 5'4 little comb-over man with a little weak voice. I put him in his place, which I just threatened him back.
Iraq and Afghanistan are evil places. You couldn't even imagine what goes on there.... These people still live like its medieval times. They still go on witch hunts, still chase mystical beings like dragons and rumors of cannibals.
Mecca, Saudi Arabia the holiest place in Islam. The things there are horrible. I saw minority groups abused and segregated worse than the 1960's south of the USA. In Mecca Non-Muslims weren't allowed out of certain sections, and some such as Indian descent individuals weren't allowed to leave the city without the governors permission. I saw Muslim men taking advantage of minority women in the city. Sharia Law reigns here as king. women if they bring charges against a Muslim man need 4 other women to confirm her story, otherwise, she faces death for a false statement.... Which her punishment? She would be the same way as the woman in Doha, Qatar drug out and stoned.
These people and cultures all have on thing in common. They all want Sharia Law, which if they want it Sharia Law is in complete contrast with Western Democracy Culture & Laws. The travel pause will allow what Director of The FBI James Comey said: "provide time for us to vet people from these countries." Director of Homeland Security John Kelly said: "will protect and defend our country from attacks occurring like 9/11 again." I'm with James Comey and John Kelly.... I'm against whatever tech company or big media say... Especially when Tech Companies just want more cheap labor. Our society that respects women and loves them, lets our people love whoever they want, and is a land of laws (not believing in witchcraft and doesn't hurt minority group).

they are standing up to him by voicing their discontent as emancipated citizens of a republic. that is a noble and powerful tool in a democracy and impacts the domestic battle of political opinion aswell as it influences the image of the USA in the world. if you expect a protest to have the same legal effect as some sort of decree, you are misunderstanding the way it works. and if you dismiss the power of the people as futile "bitching and whining", maybe look at events like the french revolution or the fall of the berlin wall to get a notion of it's potency. i am from europe, so i didn't protest. i am just watching and hoping the USA keeps being the wonderful country i got to know it as. you can have a dig at it's core values for a little euphoric buzz of power, but be aware that history will judge you accordingly.

To anyone thinking the way I am these days: Norway, Sweden, and Australia are all countries which happily accept immigrants, provide universal healthcare even to said immigrants, have happiness indexes higher than the U.S., and whose populations contain at least 90% English speakers. Maybe some food for thought.

in regards to the 7 countries you are referring to, the only thing Obama had enforced was - ANYONE who had visited those 7 countries were required to apply for a visa. It didnt matter whether you are white,
black, asian, latino, French, German, Japanese, Christian or Muslim etc - if you had visited those 7 countries, you had to apply for a visa - this is very DIFFERENT from banning ALL citizens of those 7 countries. Trump's ban on the other hand is enforced upon the ENTIRE CITIZENS of those 7 countries without ANY precipitating factors. Initially, Trump even banned people who held Green Card and dual citizenship of friendly countries.
And the only time Obama put a temporary halt was on Iraqi refugee PROCESSING - and he put a halt on the processing as a result of two Iraqi men who were involved with terrorist activities had come into the US posing as refugees. Furthermore, even when the Refugee processing was on hold, some refugees were still admitted into the US who had already completed the vetting process.
What do you mean Obama did it to "same countries"?? it was done only on IRAQ and it was imposed only on the refugee processing program as a result of an infiltration of possible terrorists. Most Iraqi citizens were still able to apply for visa and visit US.
So - I gave you FACTS, you should be ashamed that you aren't able to learn and think for yourself and just repeated what you heard from Info Wars and FOX.

Chris Goodwin that's not actually true, Obama restricted only people on a very specific type of visa (SIV) from a single country (Iraq). Not all Iraqi immigrants and certainly not from 7 countries. So the scope was totally different. The flow of Iraqi migrants slowed a bit but never stopped.

In 2011, Obama signed an order halting the flow of refugees from Iraq. He did this because two men were arrested in Bowling Green, KY for trying send money, weapons, and explosives to Al-Qaeda. They entered the country on immigrant Visas after lying about their past ties to terrorism on the paperwork, and Obama's order was part of a multi-pronged movement that reviewed our entire vetting process. His order also passed through both the House and the Senate before being executed. It was in reaction to an immediate and specific threat.
Trump stopped all visitor's from seven Muslim-majority nations apparently because, as was mentioned above, "Lol muslims." Unlike Obama's order, which only stopped the processing of refugees, it stops ALL visitors from these seven nations. It is also untrue that they were identified as such by Obama's administration. Under Obama, these seven nations were put on the no-fly list for American citizens because American's that were going there were getting kidnapped and killed. Not because they were exporting radicalized terrorists to go to other countries and kill them.
So to answer your question, the reason why there was no "snowflake outrage" in 2011 is because we, unlike Trump, were and still are in possession of FACTS.
Alright, I read up on this a bit more rather than believing your bogus alternative facts. Here's the snowflake response:
First,Obama's 'Review' of 2011 was based on an actual threat (as opposed to Trump's 'Ban' which is based on smokes and mirrors).
Second, the 'review' was for a specific group of people from a specific country and did not have any effects on refugees since refugees do not travel on visas.
Third, it was an organized procedure vetted by the constitutional processes and was limited in scope as regards its time of being in effect.
I could go on, but I only had to read 3 articles from authenticated sites to see the 7 major differences between the two, so I'm sure you can do that as well. Branch out from Fox, maybe.
Also, you haven't answered my initial question about his conflict of interest.

I prefer to be unbiased however i do believe this muslim banned violates the 1st and 5th amendment. I especially do not agree with putting Christian's first before muslims when it comes to refugees. United states is unbiased when it comes to religion so every religion should be held equal and one should not have an advantage over the other
