I waited in line for an hour and a half for those dosas the last time I was in the city and it was totally worth it! We also ate at Peter Luger's and Nobu on that trip, but those dosas were the best thing we ate. Next time I'll get there earlier 😉
I’ve had his food once. Many years ago. I’m so glad to see him thriving post Covid. He’s such a decent human and his food is top tier. I’m not even vegan but would eat his food above most street food vendors.
because he cares about quality over quantity, if he wanted he could have easily sold his brand to big company and licensed it out to many diff Indian stores and chains around America and the west but he doesn't...why because he cares about quality, he cooks for the health of his customers, even in his interviews you see he says he adds vegetables and spices for health benefits of his customers even if he has to pay premium to buy it. If someone else makes it for customer it won't be the same, No one is making you wait in line if you are too childish to wait then please go elsewhere. He has so many loyal customers who don't mind the wait because they love the quality of the food.
A good man who rebuilt his life without complaining about the bad card life dealt him. To those curious he had to flee Sri Lanka due to the war and lost almost everything.
I donno how many youtubers have interviewed him so far. Poor man politely answers everybody. Leave him alone. We have enough of Dosa man videos on youtube.
I wish something like this on Streets of London. Yes Dosa available but they either modified not great taste or u really need to go to area where majority Indians live :(
