Just started playing the game a few days ago, searched all kinds of videos to find the special bots, this is the only video I found that explains where you could find them after you find them... Thanks!
For anyone curious, i found these secret bots in Astros Playroom after getting the platinum in Astrobot. Going through the last secret doorway just brings me to the store to buy the game though. (I have the disc, not sure if that matters) I booted up Astrobot again after completing this and the extra bots were there to save. I have 305 total bots now
Just a note for anyone on the last bot (Ape Escape) - if you just hit the tree 8-10 times normally without doing the spin attack, the bananas will land and wont disappear and can easily be picked up. They only kept disappearing because OP kept accidentally hitting them with the spin attack.
With me if you go in a certain angle with the spin attack it doesn’t disappear. I did it five times and it didn’t fall. In the video he was doing it right in the middle of the tree but if you do it on the edge of the tree it doesn’t make it disappear.
you dont think grabbing a tube, throwing it into a blue cloud, then finding a tree, shaking it to get bananas, and then copying the monkeys dance moves was obvious :D :D /s
@@reshef316 go to the game on your list in the PS5, hit the options button then choose the update option, that or start up the game and it should go online for the updates automatically, then you just back out of the game and let it get them and install them
As great as I think I am at finding hidden stuff. I wouldn't even know how to come across that and then if I did. I wouldn't have any idea how I'm supposed to free them. Wtf

I wish I knew about this ahead of time. Is it too late to do this once I've already started the new astrobot game? I haven't played this game since 2020 and had no idea about any of this stuff despite getting the platinum trophy back in the day.

Yes, but if you finish everything, then boot up Astrobot, they're all there to save. I did this after platinuming the game already and it still worked. I have 305 total bots now

It was the same with me but I got it, you might need to walk just a bit forwards, to the point that if you go any further you’ll die, and you should find it

You don’t need to play Astro playroom. If you do then you get some Easter eggs in Astro bot, it’s not required. It’s quick and fun game though. Good warm up for Astro bot
Astro's Playroom is a tech demo meant to showcase the features of the Dualsense controller. It's short, but really fun. It also has a lot of little details that jut make it a beautiful game to look at. It's free, so I'd recommend playing it anyways.
I went ahead and got 100% completion in Astro’s Playroom because it was quick and mostly easy. I am now ready to start Astro Bot, but not right away. I am gonna take a break from Astro for a while.
@@jardex2275I'll add to this that, after buying and downloading the game, the purchase button is replaced with a "Play" button on the store page. So you could technically launch Astro Bot directly from Astro's Playroom, but it's not as intuitive as you might wish it was.
It probably means you found a bot but haven't rescued properly yet. Head down one level in the labo to see who you're missing. To indicate there's a 5th bot to find is simply wrong, since the game only has 4 levels plus boss.

I've been sitting around for 4 years thinking I unlocked everything there is to be found in Astro's Playroom, yet here we are...
These bots were only added recently as a countdown for Astro bot, they released one at a time in July to September

Do you mean that you have to COMPLETE ALL of Playroom before you can get them? I completed Astro Bot and can't find them.

You need to have all the most recent updates and have beaten the final boss. You might need to beat it again if you did it ages ago.

Wondering when these unlock in the new astrobot. I picked these 4 up after starting my save file, idk if I have to wipe it in order to play.
They spawn into the Crash Site when you go back there after completing the first level. They're each stuck under a rock, and you have to free them.
Do you have to have completed everything to do this because these bots dont appear for me .

It's extremely specific about where you need to stand, if you don't stand in the absolute perfect spot then it won't work

You can go get them now, and they’ll show up in Astro Bot all the same. You can’t miss out on them.

The first special bot was put in the game two months ago and everybody has already found the secret bots hours after they released
I give up getting these. I keep losing it crossing the second rope.

In the new game you will have to collect 100 bots. with this you'll be able to start with 4 instead of 0.
