Astro Bot is a 2024 platform game developed by Team Asobi and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 5. It is a sequel to Astro's Playroom (2020) and is the third game in the Astro Bot series. The game was released in celebration of PlayStation's 30th anniversary and received universal acclaim from critics.

I believe the animation with the bathtub and insect bothering astro bot could be a reference to the PS2 game Mister Mosquito where one of the levels has you sucking blood from a human relaxing in the tub.
we might be the only people who understood that referance

I'm even sure you have to rescue Mister Mosquito to even get to use the tub.

3:00 those are Fennec foxes. Very adorable, very loud and screamy.
The sneaking animation is almost never used in the game. Rescuing the Lara Croft bot is pretty much the only time you're required to use it. There is one more use for it though. When sneaking over a glass floor, it won't break.

you forgot to show nathan drake throws rocks at the enemies too!! he does in fact pull his weight
The safari zone is so you can see all the animals from the other levels and you slowly gain more and more animals as you go through each level.
It also unlocks photo mode, so it's pretty much just a set to do cute poses in.
Your probably wondering why does the hula hoop at 13:05 turn blue. Well this hoop is the Super hoop from Ape Escape 3, where hula hooping releases a charge that makes you run really fast. It’s a good detail.
At first I thought this was a re-upload of the video from a few days ago, then I remembered that one didn’t have your beautiful voice! This one is MUCH better with the voiceover. I gotta have my Eggcellent VO fix!
Astro bot it's a game with so much passion that more games like this can see the light of day
It's still funny to me that the most universally liked PlayStation game since either TLOU 1 or Bloodborne is a Mario-esque platformer that would have been more at home on the PS2 than the PS5
At the same time, it's use of the controller and it's vast catalogue of properties to reference are a massive part of its success. Best at home on PS5 after all.
Attack the cupboard near the Bot of War TV. Also, if you haven't rescued the bot there, then there will be a PS2 hooked to TV (it could also be there if the bot is rescued).
Like the egg relics, there are 8 ravens in Bot of War. If you get them all, you get an achievement and there is a tree in the level that has 8 glowing ravens. The first one can be hard to miss as it is part entering the level with a rocket controller.
You can press down on your d-pad to dance with your bots. Do this with at least a 100 of them, and you get an achievement.
When watering the tree seed. Continue to squirt water at the tree to see it react. Also an achievement.
for some reasons, the sleep pose astro did with the cow reminds me of Harvest Moon

If you hit the Ratchet-Bot at the Crash Site he'll drop a bunch of bolts and quickly recollect them while looking embarrassed. If you hit the Rivet-Bot she'll momentarily disappear into a rift only to reappear as if nothing happened.
I cannot look at Astro Bot and not think of Sony going: "Man, this game all about our massive range of excellent console exclusives was a big seller, why don't YOU do the same thing Xbox? Oh wait... :P "

In the new Space Marine 2, in the second to and last mission in the campaign, Titus hears Imurah talking to him, using his teammates voices to taunt and tempt him. Although, if you are playing as the other two characters, you won't hear anything.
The bug in the tub is actually "Mr. Mosquito". You can also unlock an origami figure in the Gatcha pon machine in reference to "Heavy Rain".
this game is just amazing, my favorite from the ps5 library by far
I don’t know if you plan on doing another video on easter eggs that reference youtubers, but i found one in Astro bot. When using the claw machine, you can unlock Kratos’ animation in the hub world, and the animation is called “Dad of Boy” which is what Jacksepticeye said at the beginning of each of his God of War playthroughs.

I'm not PlayStation guy, but darn, this game is cute as heck, full of love and seems so very fun. If you own a PS5, you should definitely check that game out!
