Thank you for sharing all this information about Africa on your channel! As a European (I am from Denmark) Africa has long been a bit of a "mystery" to me. It is not so easy to find contemporary information about Africa here. I don't see much about it in our own main stream media, when I do, the media often try to serve a certain narrative. Finally I started looking for information about Africa on UA-cam and found your channel, and several others. It's really refreshing to hear from African people directly what your countries are like, what your lives are like, and what your perspective on the rest of the world is! Once again, thank you :-)

I have become more interested in history over the past month and realized there is hardly anything concerning my African heritage that doesnt have anything to do with slavery. I was surprised to find that there is hardly any information concerning Africa that is positive and speaks of Africa on it's own not just as a place that was "Discovered." Thank you so much for having a channel where I can learn more and educate myself on my people. Keep up the good work!

One fact she omitted is Benin was home to the Walls of Benin. All of my brothers and sisters should research this and I am sure the colonizer controlled education system does not teach about this in schools so I invite all to research and gain understanding.

I believe every year they have the Voodoun festival and this is one country that has a high population of people practicing their indigenous religious beliefs rather than the mainstream religions.
