I had so many artifacts, with nowhere to use them. They were trash and I literally continually feed them into other trash artifacts because I have no where to put them. By doing this, I have the potential to focus farm Noblesse / Wander sets until I get the godrolls, then I never touch this again. For me, I love this.
But what do you think!?
I feel the same. I’m at that point in the game where I’d rather try to roll a good artifact than level up a bad one, I already have so many +20 artifacts anyway.

I got 3 pretty godly pieces about in about 3 full 13-draws, but realised at the end of my 4th that I’d re-funnelled the good pieces into the boxes since they came to the top and I forgot to lock them 💀 rolled the rest in hopes of a copium piece but came up short, great use of the 100 or so artifacts I’d saved up.

yeah.. the only set available now that i want is wanderers for ganyu, but it needs to be a god roll to be useful.. hopefully they add the rest of the set in the next update..
people are freaking out about how much of a waste this is, but for a lot of artifact farming whales, they are likely at inventory limit (around 1000 artifacts) so it doesn't matter for them.

it's turning bad artifacts into resin, the deal is absurd when you get specific set pieces without needing to enter the domain.
2 elite bosses is 80 resin average for 1 wanderers troupe, now you can just use 3 bad artifacts instead and get troupe everytime.

Plus people complaining about the wasted XP seem oblivious to the fact that 600 artifacts sitting in the inventory FOREVER aren't XP either.
@@Shuizid even less than 60 actually, considering you get 4 and 3 star drops in regular domains too. People often forget that every account is different, and the golden ‘rules’ they so cherish from their sources of choice seldom apply universally.
Hell even as a player who isn't solely artifact focused in my farming (I pretty much run everything relatively evenly...weapon upgrades sometimes fall through the cracks a bit, but it's pretty even outside of that) I still have over 500 of them. They're really not as hard to accumulate as one might believe.

Do not ever throw a 3 substats with a crate/cdmg on it. Always lvl it up to lvl 4 to see the last sub.

for wanderers only u mean, since new inazuma domain is sooo good for literally every characters in the game. a bit exagerated but man that ER set is insane for xiangling/xingqiu/beidou. and that 2 piece other set is pretty much good for everyone like xiao and fischl
I keep all my characters at the same level except for some few special cases, thus I never had any problem farming glad or wanderer. There's better artifact out there either way so this is a waste really.

mtashed is right on this. Even though you sacrifice 3 artis for one, each new artifact is worth 30 resin and even more if it's not farmable from domain. Meaning that if you have an abundance of artifacts and you're an endgame player, it's a really efficient system to gamble for artifacts
For those who are curious about math: farmable artifacts have 20 resin cost per piece + 33% for double, that's 60 resin for 4 pcs. Since farmable artis come in pairs, it evaluates to 120 resin for 4 pcs from set you need. Which means 120/4=30 resin saved for each reroll. And you sacrifice 3 trash artifacts for 30 resin. imho worth it for endgame

All I need to power up the artifacts worth rolling are the 4* artifacts I get from domains. Everything else just sits there so I absolutely love this system. Got like 6 great artifacts. Best part is it doesn't even cost mora

It'd be great if in the future, they add a feature where once we do an artifact domain a certain amount of times. We obtain the artifact strongbox for the artifact set the domain offers.
If the boxes included all artifacts in the game then maybe this would be worth it, but no one in their sane mind is going to sacrifice all that artifact exp unless you're one of those people that has +20 5 star artifacts for every single character lol. Thanks for taking one for the team Mtashed.
Edit: Since I'm getting weird comments about my lack of endgame experience, despite the fact that I have all my carries with their weapons at 90, all +20 artifacts and can easily 36 star abyss I want to clarify this was mostly targeted towards newer players. Just wanted to clear that up.

i agree on the only certain sets. but i really like how when im over caped on 5 star artifacts you can just use them into those sets. i would love to see more sets in the future.
@@theend3905 2 piece gladiator is now farmable, and 4 piece gladiator is almost extinct in actual practical usecases.

I actually like the addition of this, I'm quite new to the game and whenever I see an artifact with terrible rolls or set that I dont need or want on drop I immediately trade it to atleast get the desired arti with a probable chance of getting decent substat and at that point can I decide wether to proceed on upgrading it

@@schopenhauer5427 No you are wrong. When you do boss runs you cant choose whether the gold artifact will be gladiator or wanderers. With this new system you can. Its a game changer.
@@schopenhauer5427 first off it's 60 for 40 resin and for me I have done lot of bosses for WT set that I have lot boss materials which I don't have to worry about, plus I can peacefully farm for other sets and If I get bad artifacts I can exchange them for WT set.
@@schopenhauer5427 it depends if you have been saving a shit ton of artifacts and need WT or a Glad Set, this could potentially be a useful way to gain those artifacts, allowing you to spend your resin elsewhere 🤷🏽♂️

I'd prefer a system that lets me reroll my substat upgrades on lvl 20 artifacts instead. The glad, wanderers, and noblesse boxes are nice, but the bloodstained box is pointless

This really helps me farm Wanderers Troupe easily, I craft most of the 5-star artifacts that i didn't use.
Now it gives my Ganyu 4-set Wanderers Troupe w/ CritRate: 41% and CritDmg: 233% ❤️❤️❤️ (+Amos Bow wep)
It's a nice feature. I just wish it was applicable to more than just the artifacts I get from farming bosses weekly and for ascension mats, and a single domain with two very niche sets.
As someone that badly needs Noblesse but don't have enough resin. This was a Good Help.
See, Mtashes' logic i can get around with. It all depends on the situation youre in, all my characters have decent artifacts on them maxed, why not attempt for god rolls and save some resin if my inventory is full anyway? I love this system. Hopefully they add more sets down the line.

I went all in on this and my Ganyu went from 50 / 185 Blizzard Strayer to 45 / 225 Wanderer's Troupe god this is a great system.
As a f2p. Still those flower and sand rolls would never happen for me. I've actually never got a 30% cd piece.

They only DEF stats I value is when its on bolide for 4 pc bonus on Noelle.

It’s good if you’re end game, and don’t have anything to do with the artifacts. Cause you have artifacts for all your characters. Don’t do this if you’re still at early. Cause wanderers is hard to get than normal domain artifacts. So it’s much easier to trade the 3 for 1.

The only reroll I'll ever do with the current selection is for wanderers, we already have shimenawa for the 18% atk 2 piece anyway and we have always had access to noblesse and bloodstained.

You still have to level up the artifact to see it's full potential.

Through this, I made nice progress to complete my ganyu artifact set, feather with 33%cd (sadly no cr) and sands with 21cd and 10cr

I like it so much, it saves me a lot of resin and time, I got 2 identical cdmg glad helmet with 7% crit rate and 50 ish elem mastery 20-30 flat atk + phys goblet that rolls into flat atk %atk cr cd each one time with sacrificing 21 elm goblet with no crit stat and trash crit helmet artifacts. I think the more good main stat you put in, the better the chance to get god rolls on these. Later I used 30 artifacts from failing cwof artifacts farming session (for hutao, now I'm just a simple shimenawa enjoyer) and get a great god roll glad plume 6.5/32 crit roll, and a noblesse plume that roll 20 cdmg 5 cr 11%er and some 20 em. So far, so good. I never really use it after tho, I'm not at the point I have all my chara build to have artifacts just sitting on my inventory. I usually have 70-130 artifacts and I'm already ar57. I focus on talent, level, weapon more than artifacts because the rng level haha it pays off I guess, although I don't really farm artifacts all that much, I reached over 60/180 crit ratio +2k atk for my dps without sharing their artifacts, so yeah I'm quite lucky until now (namely hu tao (haha her artis is wip it's just homa stat), xiao (I got jade spear so that helps), kazuha (hybrid pyro vape kazu ft. C6 benny), keqing (idk how she is using leftover from all the prev but it might be her ascension, bp sword, and goblet), sadly my raiden is still 47/177, Ning still 56/164, mona 52/154 if they don't borrow)
I had a lot less artifacts than that but now have 2 Noblesse Oblige artifacts with ATK%,ER%, and double crit sub stats.
The system is pretty stellar, even got some nice N.O HP%/ER% pieces for a support Diona.

I would never do this kind of thing, I once upgraded an artifact that had flat atk, def and def% as the 3 starting sub stats, at +4 I got Crit Dmg and every upgrade after that was Crit damage ending with 34% Crit Dmg, EVERY artifact has potential to be great and I strongly believe that, watching this was so painful
The risk in doing that tho. Better to be safe than sorry. Though it's good that you got giant amount of crit dmg those other subs are useless
My millions of Def% main stat artifacts w/ def%, flat hp, flat atk, flat def subs would beg to differ with that "Every artifacts have potential" statement
You're doing the same thing just in a different setting. You're gambling on one artifact that has just as much or more potential to be crap. You should also realise that you then need to make up for the three other terrible substats with your other artifacts, which is more RNG.
with this you can farm effectively up to 3 sets of artifacts, 2 in the domain and 1 crafting on the table
I just finished my wanderer's set for my Ganyu as well. Super happy we finally have a use for all our trash artifacts.
I will use it after i get all items on lv 20 for all chars i have...

I think they sould do something similar to what they do in games like csgo were the main stats and sub stats of the artifacts you sacrifice can affect the final result. For an example if you put a lot of artifacts that have crit damage and crit percent,etc and you have Cryo damage as main stat in this artifacts you're guaranteed or has better chances that the artifact you recive has this stats.
I feel like this allows us to Kon Marie our artifacts storage with no guilt hahahaha
I don't have an issue getting good artifacts from domain rng, the only thing I want to be able to manipulate/ reroll is substats

@@jesfermamon4894 it can be balanced by spending a currency (possibly from salvaging 5 star artifacts) so you can randomise the sub stat you want so you still have to farm to do it. A few games do things like that

Im kinda stuck with 930 gold artifacts, 0 reason to upgrade anything because obviously you dont want to level up trash artifacts. What i actually want is a way to transform them into Sanctifying bottles to free up the space.

The 60% 200% is really damn good, you should focus more on flat attack so your percent crit dmg actually scales up from

Tf run crit damage crown on Ganyu🐥. Just get around 40crit rate and use Cryo resonance no need to get that much crit rate👀🙃.
Ganyu with this set is for Melt teams. Cryo resonance doesn't help here

@@amaze3788 you know ganyu's highest dps ceiling is on her cryo charged shot on enemies with pyro on them... Wanderers troupe gives EM and Charged shot. It's a win win
@@zackf6696I am a Ganyu main setting it up is very difficult in current abyss I think so morgana works better than melt teams😌. anyways my point was that Ganyu will do more damage if you give her crit damage crown. You can also use cryo resonance on melt teams like ganyu diona and other 2pyro.🙂

I almost have a full inventory of 5 stars and it's getting annoying when I get artifacts exploring or from bosses because I keep having to manually burn 5 stars into other 5 stars
