शंकर जयकिशन गज़ब के हस्ताक्षर थे। मैं नौ साल का था जब जयकिशन जी गए और उसके बाद इस जोड़ी का कमाल समाप्त हो गया। मैंने बिनाका गीत माला में आवाज़ के जादूगर अमीन सयानी साहब से यह समाचार सुना था, आवाज़ की वह उदासी मैं आज भी महसूस कर रहा हूं, जैसे एक युग शांत हो गया था।इस शो के माध्यम से आपने मुझे मेरे बचपन में तो पहुंचा ही दिया साथ ही जो फूल मेरे सारे जीवन में बिखरे हुए थे जैसे इस गुलदस्ते के माध्यम से आपने मुझे भेंट कर दिए। मैं आपका आभारी हूं और हां गौरी कवि जी का भी अभिनन्दन है उनकी प्रस्तुत रचना निश्चित ही कर्णप्रिय होती है।आप सभी का हार्दिक आभार।
