Wah! What an outstanding harmonium performance by the great Sachin Sir! He literally made his instrument talk and sing ! Thoroughly enjoyed his masterpiece performance ! I must mention that Ms.shailaja subramanyam is simply wonderful in voice control, pitch, voice quality etc and she has raised her own bar in this stage show ! Amazingly beautiful rendering by all songs by her !Her superb duets with Mr.Alok Katdare are a pleasure to watch and enjoy ! Mr Sarvesh Mishra has also emerged as a perfect singer in this show. Laxmikant Pyarelal were one of the greatest Music directors of the Hindi Film Industry. They were very talented and the orchestration for each and every song of theirs is unique. Their knowledge of Indian Classical music to Folk and western music was tremendous and have recorded a song in every genre. They have made fabulous use of Lata, Rafi & Kishore Kumar voices in most of their songs. Lata Mangeshkar also has maximum Hindi songs recorded under Laxmi-Pyare music direction.
I am astonished how my favorite MD LP could compose so charming , beautiful, experimental music .Now I am watching the program from morning to till now. Excellent orchestration.
