@@zyroxop1482facts 😂💯
I watched it with English subtitles first time ever any malyalam movie.worth it❤❤ Mass comedy movie.FAFA- What a actor❤️🔥
When you watch old Malayalam movies you will get to know how Bollywood was formed
Exactly... Now people are talking about Malayalam cinema its only because of Ott platforms and UA-cam....
Watch old Hollywood movies and english novel and then you will know how Malayalam movies were formed
@@sriragkt so what??!! By the time here in Indian film industries were making 95% totally crap movie's why they couldn't make such movie's?? Malayalam industries inspired from such Hollywood movie's that's true.. Why so called Indian "legend's" didn't make any inspired movies by the time's??
@@danishjosej Malayalam movies are great but it doesn't mean Bollywood was formed by Malayalam movies as per the comment above. Bollywood Industry made lot of good movies which were recognized globally. Appraising Malayalm movies is positive but degrading other industry is very Negative 🙌✌️
@@sriragkt i didn't utter any word's about Bollywood and against it, but you are the one degrading Malayalam movie's, check my comment once again... And we mallus were reading & watching international books and movie's since way before and got inspired from it and making movie's out of it way before other industries, have you hear "My dear kuttichathan" movie??!! Listen the word's of legendary actors & technicians saying about Malayalam industry... I am not boasting but its the fact...
As someone from Kerala it was considered elite to watch Bollywood movies in the 2000s. Some elite wannabe people used to say "oh I only watches Hollywood and Bollywood movies not Malayalam or Tamil those are for the low class"😂
The tables have turned and how!
Actually Early 2000s Bollywood movies were at its peak writing.
Its downfall started around 2015
3:07 totally agreed
It will not because biggest factor is audience.
It depends upon audience quality.
Success and failure of type of movies from different industries shows quality of audience.
Hi! That is spot on!
Hindi speaking belt now have started consuming regional content in the original language with subtitles
It is limited by the less number of audience, which is in part because of the less population in Kerala. But as we can see with the success of Munjummel Boys and Premalu among Tamil and Telugu audience, the growth of the industry will now depend on how much the other industry viewers are ready to watch Malayalam movies. And when that happens more consistently it could be more successful than other industries. Just like how Kannada now has a high market, considering the success of KGF, Kantara and 777 Charlie throughout India.
Thanks for the recommendation!!
Absolutely! Let us know how you like it
Once u go back to 90s to 2000 movies from malayalam u will have complete picture of Bollywood and tollywoods
Not Will... Always Malayalam Film Better than Any other Language.. Try to watch older malayalm films

Mollywood 💎
Hi! Thank you for your comment. The topic is not if Bollywood is better than Mollywood. Mollywood is the best cinema in the country without a doubt. The topic is if Mollywood will take over Bollywood in the near future in terms of business and popularity.
Yes it is. Kerala and Malayalam is No.1

I think bollywood needs a reset....
Every industry needs a reset, now its bollywoods turn.
Hope bollywood learns from rest of the regional cinemas and make better films...
malayalam movies are also make over the top action movies but they have substance bollywood movies don't have substance
❤❤
Ninte thala enna patti vizhunjiyo
05:35 May be Malayalam film industry started blooming recently, but not Malayalam films.... They were always a notch up since the beginning... primarily because it had writers with rich literary background in the helm of affairs and immensely talented actors.... those could be counted as one among all time greatest.... Writers like M T Vasudevan nair, aravindan, padmarajan, etc., and actors like p j Anthony, kodiyettam gopi, thilakan, nedumudi venu, oduvik unnikrishnan, jagathy Sreekumar, murali, Mohanlal....the list goes on...
Considering the amount of quality movies. Malayalam movie industry was always way better.
He is already a superstar
When bollywood concentrating on sanghi movies it will go down
Firsly u remoove your facecover and make criticisam man😅
Avesham is a masala well done.
Please make a review on malayalam mammotty movie rosharch
Hi! Thanks for the recommendation, I shall surely watch it 🙂
Malayalam is the unofficial BAAP of Bollywood . Hindi movies took birth from remake of Malayalam Hit Movies.
Dumb comment
Those Bollywood Movies which were remade by Priyadarshan and his movies are almost all copied from Hollywood old movies 😂😂😂. Bollywood is still and will be the King Globally
Malayalam has bagged most no..of national awrds after hindi
Like many are saying you should see how Malayalam movies were in the 80s and 90s .,so realistic you will find it hard to watch But Malayalam audiences always loved them
Hi! Could you please provide a few recommendations of Malayalam movies from that era? I would like to delve deeper into understanding the cinema.
Malayalam movies have always bagged top spots in national awards right from 1960 bcoz of the top notch writing, direction and performances . It’s Jst that the industry garnered a wider audience lately. There are plentiful noteworthy movies in 70s, 80s n 90s across various genres. Would definitely share some of the favourite picks !!
Hi! I would love to get into it. Could you please send me some of your recs on my email? filmfanatic94@gmail.com . TIA!
@@ReelRealReflect Kilukkam, Thoovana Thumbikal ( infact all Padmarajan Movies) , Chitram, Desharatham, Desavatharam, Spadikam,
When you don't want to show your face then what's the use of making it as a video. It's just the hand in movement. Instead you could review like anmol. But it's your channel and your choice 😊
Heis a jihadi thats all😂😂
Content wise Malayalam industry is miles clear of Bollywood but in commercial and audiance scale Bollywood have the upperhand
Ott par kab Aayega hindi mein
Hi! As per the sources either end of May or early June, on Prime video.
It's a must watch in theatres with crowd. On small screen it wont be nice.
Ranganna have so many talents
Theatre must watch for the Xperience
please watch ante sundaraniki
Definitely, thanks for the recommendation!
Hindi has a large audience and Mallu has the lowest still the lowest fighting to sustain by delivering the best is a clear cut example of evolving India &Hindi should think about utilizing best resources in india instead of sticking with conventional choices
That is a spot on observation! I see a better future for cinema in general in India!
Bro. Plese wach anjarakalla kokkachi. It's malayalam movie 👍
Hi! Thanks for the recommendation, I will put it down on my list. Also, did you mean Anchakkallakokan?
bro who told malayalam cinema is blooming now>/?? actually you people never saw old magnum opus movies.....if you want i can list it down,,
The production of biopics and hidden agenda films in succession must first come to a halt. Now a days, primary force behind modern Bollywood is fake propaganda. It must come to an end. Hey, you're much above the ordinary man's realm. It wasn't the previous kind; in the past, going to the movies was a cheap family entertainment option, but these days, the ordinary guy can't afford to take his family to the movies due to cost. Therefore, they check to see if the movie is worth their money before heading to the theater.
Every North Indian review of Avesham are pronouncing Co starrer of Fafa as Anban.. It's not Anban..its THAMBAAN ❤
It’s Amban. Check imdb, movie subtitles , etc.
Already malayalam movies are over all other movies😅.
0:54 society ka betterment ki baat karna makes no sense, agar uspe baat kerna hai hai tho political video phele banao politics bhut jyada effect karti hai
The spoon feeding in hindi movies is just downright stupid.... it just questions the intelligence of the audience.... you don't need to explain everything in movies, the audience have an intelligence and they will understand what the director says through his movies.
Leaving it to their imagination is also a good way to extract alternate ideas. That is seen in a lot of Malayalam movies.
Absolutely true!
Dont worry Bollywood will come back to its glory
We can only hope!
Giving a challenge to Bollywood !!!
Try to revive hindi movie industry without REMAKES from South .. LETS see !! Show your Original work and Earn Respect ..
*Malayalam movies use language to a LEVEL never explored in other movies* ... one example is the way Fahad Fasil talks in Aavesham.
Some movies have different ways Malayalam is spoken eg people from North Kerala, Fort Cochin, Trichur and Trivandrum speak markedly different Malayalam... Unfortunately this is something which cannot be enjoyed by a non malayali.
50% of the attraction of Malayalam movies is it's use of language ... old style, new slang, etc.
As a avid Malayalam movie guy, I would rate Aavesham as an okay dokie movie ... as has been all the recent saussage fest where no heroines have been cast... be it in goatlife, Manjumal Boys, Aavesham, Bramayugam, Romanjam, Varshangalke Shesham.
Goat life is an extended version of Arabikatha... Arabikatha & Kadhama are much more entertaining and heart touching.
Of all the above saussage fest I would rate Varshangalke Shesham as the better one.
*Aavesham was ONLY about FAFA... Was the rest of the cast purposely kept bleak? & Dark?* The kids were rank newbies... and was no match to FAFA... huge acting gap... I think that is where the movie floundered... If it did.
Guys go to banglore to drink? Standing in staircases? And crap 3rd class bars? Not in hi quality Pubs?
Didn't these people know that people who go to Bangalore to study are above average income group?
Basically Aavesham had FAFA roaring on one side and 3 boys going to college to drink & dance. Is that all boys do in college? Drink & dance?
If you remove FAFA aspect... the film is outright crap.
Very elaborately put! While the movie doesn’t have a lot of artistic value in terms of the storyline, it still stands better than most “masala” films sold in Bollywood. At least the characters are written with some effort, the acting is good and the music/bgs was apt.
I shall watch Varshangalke Shesham, thanks for listing out the other movies! 🙂
Bollywood is completely based on bombay culture which is an international city... It donot have the back support of an organic conventional culture unlike malayalam, tamil, kannada or thelungu... Or like bengali marathi or bhijpuri assam film industries which are now weak but can perish in future.. So if bollywood want to return to its glory then it had to shift its mumbai centric approach and wants to diversify its working scope to states like UP HARYANA etc which had a organic conventional base then bollywood can make movie based upon culture like article, danga, swadesh, tumpad etc untill then a comeback is impossible for bollywood
Hollywood also make commercial movies like mission impossible, jurassic park, dune but nobody say why the always make big budget movies
I completely agree, that's a good observation. The Bollywood audience is so large that there is no common ground to relate to whereas other industries have a shared culture to cultivate good stories.
