I like that they opened with whats on all our minds watching these. The insight you get just from a brief conversation with the stage people and players themselves is staggering. And a true gift to a new generation of players and artists and potential crew.
He pretty much was exclusively Les Paul Standard until like, 2015ish(He did play an SG in Dag Nasty though). When the new guitarist Mike joined the band, that's about when he started using Jrs
Brian played a Les Paul deluxe in Minor Threat, according to bassist Steve Hansen, who played on Out of Step. Lyle played a Standard. There was also an LP Jr that served as the bands backup guitar. Brian was the second-best guitarist in Minor Threat, and also the second-best bassist.
I'm from Phily. I was touring with the band Pegan Babies back In 87. Brian was playing in Dag Nasty at the time. Pagan Babies and Dag nasty were both Playing the same night At a club ( I can't remember the name at the Moment) in Utah. And Brian was so gracious. He was playing with A JCM 800 and a Roland Jazz Chorus and a few effects. He took the time to Explain to me how he set he's Rigs up and his effects. He is absolutely thee Nicest guy on Earth. A really great moment in my life I'll never forget.
@@terrypussypower is that Shane Johnson ? I think so, lives in Austin, currently teching for Imagine Dragons. KILLER guitarist and nice guy, ironically I have his personal LP jr at my house right now
Rig Rundowns are so much better when the guitarist plays their equipment. Frustrating to see a couple classic Juniors and a couple Marshall stacks in a venue where they can be cranked up and nope.

He played a Les Paul Standard in Minor Threat back in the Early 80’s. He’s always had great taste for gear!
Myke Fuller Very true!

I love how he’s just as excited to be in bad religion and be on rig rundown as we all are to have him.
I love these rig run downs the best too!
And, NOW, want to use P-90's for a while!
Simple but yet so attractive.
Bryan is such a cool guy
I pick up the guitar thanks to this man! A true legend!
My brand new Knaggs Kenai J is going to be a tribute to Mr. Baker
Cool guitar! I bought a Gibson spirit back in 85, with a humbucker only because the store sold the one with p90'! Sold it awhile ago!

Let the the guy being interviewed talk.
Yeah, he was just about to say something about Jeff Glazer's bridge when that dick cut him off. That is so frustrating when they do that shit.

The guitar tech in the background is losing his shit not being involved
He's been on Rig Rundown before.

I found myself for the past 30 years using single coils. It wasn't intentional it just happened
St. Brian Baker
So awkward when he didn’t get the tool joke 😂
My 59 Junior intonates perfectly with the standard bridge

Jimmy Fallon much?
How do these guys stay so skinny?!
Diet and exercise? 🤷🏻♂️
It's PUNK ROCK, maaaan!!! Keeps ya skinny.
Well, either that or black tar heroin.
He used to be overweight, he lost a load of lbs a few years ago
He'd be better off with a Telecaster.
Not for punk rock.
@@leewhitworth9142 You've obviously never heard of Joe Strummer.
@@cancelwoke9384 Of course I've heard of Joe Strummer, it's just that the Telecaster doesn't come to my mind immediately as a punk rock guitar.
These two really should get a room
He looks like a critical theorist professor at university........ oh wait.
There is no tone demonstration.
Wow I’m literally first
Wow it's literally meaningless
It’s literally a repost of an old video
