🎮 Comment The original Lost Levels. What I didn’t know is that in order to access Worlds A to D you have to complete Worlds 1-9 eight times! Fortunately there are hacks that make them accessible without that.
This is basically an official rom hack of the original Mario Bros. I feel bad for the kids who bought this when it first came out, not knowing the difficulty that awaited them.
They knew about the difficulty, because the Japanese commercial spot was very expressive on sending that message lol. In any case, gamers were very competitive and hardcore back in the 80's. Most games were super hard, this one is just a famous example. And far from being one of the cruelest. I loved this game, when I got it on Super Mario All Stars. And now I own it on the NES (Pirate cartridge.) One of my most intense gaming memories is to beat this game on the NES without saving states, like you have on the SNES.
@@princessCashel Can't argue with that. Back in the 80's and 90's, we were too forgiving, when it came to bad level design. Even classic and highly praised games like Genesis Sonic 1, Super Metroid and Doom 2 had a ton load of tortuous and suffering levels.

The SNES remaster in All-Stars also allows you to reach World 9 by beating just once, long as you don't warp.
Utiliser warp zone pour faire 8 fois le jeu plus rapidement
Even if this game is hard, I still like playing it. I have this on my 3DS and the 16 bit remake on the Wii version of Super Mario All-Stars.
*Remaster

Yeah, pretty much. That's what started the subculture and the notorious Mario Maker levels.
@@LITTLE1994some people may call it challenging or "how games used to be." I just call it bad design
I finally can finish this game using emulator with save state 😅

Try playing as Luigi (which I had tried and beaten) and the most infamous Mario game becomes a REAL challenge!
The old school ❤

@@HeathenDanceFor the most part, yeah.
You found the lost levels.
I have this game
also know as the lost levels
Mario bros.2 japanese
This is the worst mainline Mario game. Also, will this count to the NES library, or is the disk system its own library?
