Before removing oil always start your engine for 3 to 5 minutes so all the dirt or smudge mixes with oil and then change the oil every thing comes out with the old oil. If you don't do it some particals of the chamber will be sitting there..and will mix with new one
Thank you! A lil complex but I’m used to it having changed many oil filters on german vehicles. It’s slightly less wasteful since all you’re tossing is a paper filter and a couple o-rings.
Did you ever find a compatible diagnostic computer for the V2" to reset the service indicator. I have been looking but not sure what would work best. There seems to be a few different products on sale but no clear info on what is best for Ducati's.
I’m unsure about the supersport but I know it’s a pretty compatible fender delete. The company’s website’ll tell you if it’s compatible for sure. Thanks for the comment!
Hmm, I’d say as long as you’re confident you won’t drop it you should be fine. The different rider modes are nice for getting started but even at the lowest setting it’s still a beast. Coming from riding a CRF for 2 years I was scared of the more aggressive riding position and being lower to the ground but it actually turned out being more stable and a lot smoother to ride in general.
@@broke4strokes Thanks man, yea I mean I dont intent to go full ham right off rip, and appreciate the honest feedback. Super excited I think its like 2 weeks out.

Not sure about that all the dirt comes out, but atleast the oil would be warm so it drains faster
When removing fairings I always place an old blanket under the bike to help prevent dents & scratches.
Good call!
Nice video man... oil filter design looks needlessly complex to me. The screw on type is so much easier and faster. Beautiful bike!

Get the t800 from UPmap that's how I erase or clear the engine light aND also map the bike just in case you take the cats out too
Thanks for the advice, I’ll check em out!
That's not accurate. You can clear cel's but you cannot reset the service light. Just adjust your date in the settings.
brilliant, thanks very much for this!
the ziptie trick is really nice
This is By dar the best Video about This !
Thank you! Appreciate the comment 🤘🏽

Great video man, just earned a new sub.
Thanks for watching and subscribing! Glad you enjoyed the video
@@broke4strokes of course man, video was clear and concise. Check my video shorts to see what my v2 sounds like with an exhaust
Solid video, straight to the point, clear audio. Thank you keep doing these. Also does ur fender eliminator work on the 2023 Super Sport?

Ive ridden alot of bikes in past. But haven't ridden in a 5 year period. Do you think the ducati is a good first bike back haha

Just letting you know that if you haven't got a 4mm Allen key, if you have an imperial set, the 5/32" key is the same size! 👍
Thanks for the pro tip, I’ll keep it in mind!
after the oil change done so the light Service on screen will will reset too?
I brought it to the dealer to reset the light, I bought the oil there so they didn't charge me to reset it. Thanks for watching!
Just bought a 2023 v2. Where did you get your stealth mirrors? Do you also still have front blinkers
I bought them from a company here in Austin called Motovation. I picked my order up but they have an online store as well.
If you take off your oil fill cap it will drain a little faster
Good point!
Even the oil is Ducati Red
Lovely precise presentation - is there a torque setting for the drain plug or did you just judge it by hand?
Thank you! Yes there is a torque spec, 15nm I believe. I’d have to double check the manual
