It is so sad for the actors. The show is pretty entertaining so far and they get all this hate just because of manchildren who can't even tell actual canon from their ass
core fans dont like then they dont like it, you cant force a mediocre show made by talentless actors for the sake of snowflake agenda and shove it down the throat of core fans, calling them manchild, "geeks are gay", toxic male fans, racist etc . you demean/abuse them for not liking substandard mediocre work and cry when fail.

So
This series looks really interesting! In the first minutes of Phantom Menace we see Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan were sent to investigate a situation. And we see in the Clone Wars and Revenge, Obi-Wan is also an investigator. I'm excited to see how Jedi's served in this capacity before the Republic got involved - looks like they could've been more rogue than we thought

It is very British of BBC radio to replace Lee Jung Jae's voice almost completely with translator's voice. At least give his Korean origin some spotlights and have the translator's voice put after or even normal subtitle could work.

I loved this show, and I’m so mad they canceled it. We finally got to see some depth in the High-Jedi era. We got to see the Jedi as not the best people in the universe. We got real criticisms of them and their way of life. The unhealthiness of constant emotional repression and the loneliness of being so distanced from everyone around to maintain the repression. We got to see how Jedi pushed too far and overstepped a lot of boundaries trying to control who could use the force and how they could use it, thus creating their own destruction to bring balance back to the universe because we can’t all be light, because what does light to if not cast a shadow?! This was a brilliant series that was just getting started, and could have been great, but the racist, misogynistic manchildren that Disney decided to listen to couldn’t handle having the main characters not look like them. They can’t handle the complexity of having their favorite characters be challenged in their moral standing. They can’t handle anything but having their ego stroked by white men that are as emotionally inept as they are being lauded as heroes over everything. This is so disappointing to people who really wanted to see complex stories that portrayed this beautiful cinematic universe in its full spectrum and scope.
News flash, Star Wars isn’t only loved by white men. My Black mother has been watching the movies in theaters and shows upon premiere since the 70s when she was just a kid. We still have the old vhs tapes. My mom cried when I, a Black woman - then a little girl, took interest in Star Wars after seeing one episode of the Clone Wars tv show. She showed me every movie, every show, every snippet, book, whatever she could get her hands on. She’s just as disappointed as am about The Acolyte being cancelled.

Great interview some interviews they did were a little cringe . I do believe they mean well and episode 5 and 6 were good . I think a little more depth to the characters would be good show has potential . People are impatient kind of like Andor . It was slow only thing kept me watching was the detail in props and outfits then it was a pay off at the end . The stranger is a good bad guy just have give it a chance . I mean if you saw episode 5 and didnt like the lightsaber battle and more worried about saying show sucks well I guess thats on everyone that hates it . I have seen way worse movies and shows then this so give it a try

I feel sorry for these actors/actress involved in the killing of a franchise and their own career. They should blame their own agents and its a shame Hollywood can't find an American Asian to play Sol but again using huge actors in Asia who can't even speak English well.
Lee Jung Jae's acting was impactful and I can understand his English just fine considering he must have been working hard with dialect coaches. It's better than to have a so called 'Asian American' actor who can't act as well as him and barely have any Asian representative perspective to begin with, and after all could be just any regular Hollywood garbage.
If anything, their Sol choice of cast is probably the only suitable choice they have made for this series.
@@RaVi-mx4tj But there are so many American Asian actors / actress who could benefit from this role, rather than a already successful multi-millionaire Korean actor. They do this alot, Hollywood. They always get an Asian actor from Asia that can't speak English well but betraying an actual Asian American to act.
