Nice parkup that one …. Stunning views from the top and loving the ambient bird noise Second stop looked ok to - never heard of Devoke Water do a new one for me
This looked like a great spot! But, it did not look like swimming weather to me. But then, it needs to be rather warm before I am willing to stick a toe into cool/cold water. Nab is so funny. He looks to be the type of dog you wouldn’t be able to coax back out of the water, once in. But there you are Daryl, coaxing him into the water and he barely gets in before turning tail! Thank you for today’s video. Your Friday videos help immeasurably with my anxiety over the political landscape here. Have a loverly weekend and week. Cheers!
Thanks Micky. We have swum in one of the Lakes on 1st January. It was a little bit cold when we did that. No doubt we will do it again at some point. Don't know how the world is going to go over the next few months. Uncertain times for all. Stay well.
@ I must confess that I did swim in the Bering Sea on the coast of Northwestern Alaska a couple of times. And by swim, I ran and jumped in and lost my breath and jumped out even faster than I had jumped in. To say it was cold would be an understatement of epic proportions. The Cecil’s time I jumped in, the ice flows had mostly broken up. So yes, it was wicked cold.
We really don't know. All the rest of the videos from that trip are fine. We didn't change any camera settings and having Googled for answers we can't find anything to explain what happened.
I must stay there looks great
@@SMITHYSKONTIKI yep it's not a bad park up
Lovely view 😊 Coniston is beautiful for sure. Omg lol he was lucky that they didn't all go awol 😂 atb ❤x
Coniston is one of our favourite places in the Lakes. x
Think I have fished that one, fishing rod intact LOL
No gamekeepers on your case😀
You certainly find some lovely park ups when you're out and about, another great video 👍
Thanks both. We do our best. There are only a few occasions where we have pulled up somewhere and decided that it's a no from us
Very pretty views indeed, love it. Nab being very brave again, brave boy wanting to be with his sister. ❤ xx
He is getting brave in his old age xx

Devoke was lovely and peaceful. We hardly saw anyone when we were there. Still desperate to move up there but we are trapped in Nottingham

Gosh I can imagine that was shrivelling
@ beyond shriveling! But, I can say I’ve swam in the Bering Sea. Not many folk can make that claim.
That is very true.
I just skipped through it and will watch it all tomorrow but I must ask because I'm a nosy bugger, why the odd video format?

@@CampervanTales How bizarre. 🤷♂
@@CampervanTales I found this 'How to Fix Aspect Ratio on already uploaded videos (CC available)' on dctcool yt channel
When you first said tarn I thought you were speaking yorkshire? Or have I got my accents confused?
Tarn is a Cumbrian word for a small body of water. It is Norse in origin.
