Yes, you'd better apply some heat , that would be easier to pry it off,cause there are adhesives underneath, be careful and slowly.

Hi, to replace the rear housing, the hardest part is to remove the front screen assembly,if you don't get the special repair tool then it's hard to pry up the front screen assembly and easy to scratch the plastic screen frame, and you'd better pry up the screen assembly from the bottom side, for you can see that the fingerprint sensor flex is connected to the main board.

is huawei Nova similar, mine got a bit of water is there a way to dry it
which task is fulfilled by the signal cable? mines did come of with the connector, leaving the bare solder points on the board... the cable is now connected only to the upper pcb and not connected anymore to the lower pcb but phone still works like before.

it's battery sticker which makes the battery sticked tightly to the frame, you can use some 3m double sticker instead if you don't have one, better get a new battery sticker.
