Hi Pranjal. This ongoing series is very helpful. I have been already investing in an ELSS fund for couple of years and was planning to start investing in a new ELSS fund. Just wanted to know what should be the right way to go about it. Should I stop my SIP in previous fund and every month slowly divest from it and invest the divested amount into the new fund ?

You are saying it is best because of High Returns, but Value Investing ke chakkar mein hum Jyada Risk nai le sakte, Safe Khelna Hai Lamba Khelna hai ❤
Nope, just look at any largecap funds vs smallcap funds, there are periods when smallcaps dont perform and that period can last even a decade, just choose largecap or flexicap, both have decent allocation in smallcaps, avoid smallcaps mf on your own, imho
ha bhai agar hame longterm karna hi hai to risk leke hi kare to achha hai because in longterm higher risk gives higher reruns
These days, Smallcap space is overcrowded, don't you think??

Atleast your team should mention a better performed with risk adjusted small cap fund to us. Also would like to hear from you suggestion from focused equity fund. Hi Pranjal , Please tell when to invest in mutual fund :
1. Do we need to time the market for lumpsum or sip is better ?
2. How to invest in all time high onging market or wait for correction?
3. Whats your strategy for mutual fund investments?
Simple trick, first check Mutual fund portfolio shares, if most of the down specific days then do lumpsum before 2 PM so you will get more units. Do this practice regularly your funds never ever will go negative.

Hi Pranjal..can you please advise about Nifty midcap 150 Tri index as most (around 75-80 percent) of active mid cap and active small cap funds have failed to beat this midcap index. Few AMC have started this index. Tracking error is within limit for 3 years.

But I wonder why no video on midcap fund for 2024? Is midcap index fund will be better than midcap active fund this year?? My second request : give knowledge on NPS Tier 2 also...as it also acts like a mutual fund. Also it gives option to shift between asset classes without thinking of withdrawal & tax..also discuss what is the taxation rule of NPS Tier 2 withdrawal... Flexi cap me invest kro...investers ko pura independence rehta he stocks select karne ke liye . Aur lock in period nhi rehta ..matlab apki iccha ho tab nikal lo aur dusre acche performance wale share me apki amount daal dijiye .. aur returns bhi acche aayenge . Nippon flexi cap , parag parikh flexi cap etc. acche hai ..

Surely diversification is required. You must have a diversified mutual fund portfolio and especially in such a time.

Hi Pranjal, just a small generic question which everyone or most of us can relate. If we have selected one of the funds and stayed invested in that for some period. Now after few years some new funds emerges in that category providing better returns, then how we should decide whether to stay with same fund or go with new one with better returns.

Ya we need better understanding on it. It'll help a lot.
If you chase a return that I 100% sure that you will never generate in wealth in future. Because changing fund is like you will lost your compounding benefit for upcoming years in previous fund. I never suggest my client to switch their fund because they will lost their compounding. So, choose wisely your need and goal, and your main focus should on wealth creation not in return

Don't invest in US equities just because you want some diversification. NASDAQ is a highly sectoral/thematic index, unlike Nifty50 or Sensex
Taxes will be same as in FD! Based on your income slab. No long term benefits
