Hi Ladies! Let me know what you thought of this video topic and if you want to see more brand/retailer reviews. Let me know if you agree or disagree on any of my opinions. Let's chat!
Thank you for another great informative video, Maria. I agree with you since we seem to have a similar sense of fashion style. I shop at H&M sometimes, and I usually buy their linen items for everyday wear. I have also purchased some jeans and strappy sandals, and I can say that I have been satisfied with purchases. I think we have to just pick and choose the items that speak to us, and ignore the other pieces that do not suit our style. Looking forward to your next video!
Thanks for mentioning the "oversized floppy shapeless dresses" because that is exactly what we are looking for for my mother. She loves kaftan-like dresses, they are perfect for her at home in the summer heat (without a belt, of course). 42 degrees cannot be tolerated in many other things. And more cheerful the colours and/or pattern, the better. (It's good to be a little more open, H&H is present in many countries, cultures and climates around the world. Not everyone has the same needs, even if certain classic standards are more or less the same.)
Hello Salala, I definitely did not intend any ill will with this video. It's not my taste so I just vocalized that. Im sure in extremely hot weather there is very little you can wear to keep comfortable. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Hi Deborah, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. Glad you agree on the loud prints. I'm not an Old Navy Customer but I'll definitely take a look. Thanks for the suggestion.
Another thoughtfully arranged video by Maria Nicole! I completely agree that oversized dresses do not flatter women’s bodies - no matter what shape you are. Thank you for bringing us this content!
Dear Maria, I agree with every no-go you showed. I agree too with most of your wearable items. But as I know myself, if I see them in person then I don't like them at all. Most because of the cheap feeling of the fabric that crinckles. My favourite item on this video is the blue wide leg shorts, not too short and not too long, I have the same taste than you on many items. Love your videos and I wish you a wonderful sunny week-end 🥰👍🌝
Hi Nelly! Thanks so much for your lovely comment. Yes I have to say H&M can be very low quality most of the time but sometimes you also find gems! I hope you have a sunny weekend too and thank you so much for being here!
Definitely think it’s personal choice. I like many of the things you said to avoid, meanwhile I definitely wouldn’t wear the short boxy tops you recommended. Personal style and body shape means that in fashion one size or style doesn’t fit all.
I definitely agree, that is why I intended for the video to be light hearted. I love clean modern style and loud prints don't really fit in with that however I know many women do love those. I strongly believe you should wear what you love and ignore overly opinionated videos like this :) No harm was intended. Thank you for your comment.
I really liked this theme, Maria. Please do more. H&M was a good first choice. Their styles are always so tempting, but unless you try them on first you stand to be disappointed more often than not.
In this Video you name ist again, like speaking from the bottom of my heart 😅, but youre finding the right words🎉. Looking at h&m collection I often just think WHY
Sooo many tips, ideas and inspiration in just a few minutes. What I have seen very well is that patterns look much better at the bottom. For maxi skirts: Slit at the front. Otherwise they look quite boxy, doesn't it? Thank you very, very much ... ❤👌😇
Hi J., I hundred percent agree. Many women don't like the slit in the front but I much prefer it because it makes the denim seem less heavy. Yes I much prefer to keep a pattern on the lower half so that it doesn't compete with your face. You know your fashion! Thank you for watching.
Maria, another great video. I must say clothes seem too fussy with big poufs an ruffles. I do remember Dr Schools shoes hard wooden shoes, I am pretty sure they were torture to wear. I am adjusting my wardrobe to neutral colors. I feel more elegant. I do wear a animal print dress with a cut out when I am on vacation. It is pretty cool. I did receive my Reformation denim skirt. It is Fabulous! I have changed my color palette since watching your videos! You have great style and are easy to watch.
Hi Linda, Oh my goodness, it's my dream come true to provide inspiration and I'm thrilled you have been inspired by my outfit styling :) I've seen some gorgeous animal print cover-ups for vacation and I definitely think they are more appropriate for that :) Thank you so much for being here! I'm so grateful!
I agree with everything you said I don’t think I would ever do a maxi skirt tho I could never wear one and look good but I do love it on the samples you gave. Great video thank you
Hi Maria, that was an interesting video overall and I appreciate your input. However I do have to say that big loud prints need not necessarily ‘wear you’ nor do they have to be avoided. It’s all about how you look and feel in the clothes you wear and with the right styling and confidence anyone can pull off a bold print. I recently purchased a couple of “loud” print items and also a blouse with over the top ruffling and I love them. When wearing these clothes I keep the rest of my outfit/makeup/accessories very simple and so overall I do feel the look is balanced and pleasing. I also certainly wouldn’t discourage anyone from trying these items on either. Your personal style might be a bit more classic and understated but I certainly wouldn’t put in out there for the general public to go by the same guidelines and avoid these clothes
Very well said, thank you Elizabeth. The video was opinionated but also wanted to keep it light hearted. Bold prints are not for me but yes many women wear them with confidence and feel fantastic in them, including some of my close friends :) Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts in an eloquent and classy way!
Aww thank you so much! I'm so happy to have you here. It's actually a navy cardigan :) I really love it. I got it from Uniqlo and it looks like it's sold out. I'm sorry!
Lets face it. H&M is catering to the young high School market. I find the clothes to be poorly made. Unless you are looking for some basic, they really have little to offer the mother of 16 year olds. I think there are better stores to shop. Great video. 😊
Hi Cheryl, thank you for your comment. For the most part yes, seems very junior but there are some nice basics when you dig around. What stores/brands do you prefer to shop at? Thanks for watching.
Mom jeans will balance out your skinny legs. If you wear skinny jeans that will make your legs look too skinny in proportion to your waist and therefore make your waist look that much wider. The goal is too look like an hourglass which is proportional, as opposed to a lollipop which is unbalanced. Hope that helps!

Hi dear Maria! Love your video ! Very good idea! Absolutely agree with you about pros and cons of H&M collection.
❤ Wish you wonderful May days ahead!
Hi beautiful! I'm so glad you agree and found it helpful. Thank you so much for your lovely wishes! I wish the same for you always xo

Hi Sigride, very well said. Thank you so much for watching and leaving such a thoughtful comment. I appreciate it so much.
Very informative video, Maria! I enjoy hearing your point of view on what works and what doesn’t and why.
Thank you so much Potoula. I appreciate that a ton!

Very good. I'd love you to review Veronica Beard. Their items have quality, look amazing on and are beautiful!
Hi Catherine, thanks so much for your suggestion. I'm not a Veronica Beard customer but I will look into it. Thanks so much for being here!
Love the video. Agree about the overly loud prints. I would love a video on Old Navy. Inexpensive but wearable

Hi Shelley, I have to agree. Lot's of hit or miss, sadly more on the miss. Thank you for watching!!!!
Thanks for a great video, Maria. Would love to get your thougts on the summer line from LOFT.
Thank you so much for watching. I don't generally shop there but I will check it out. Thank you for your suggestion.

Hi Anja, thank you for your comment! I'm glad you agree with my choices. Thanks so much for watching.
I agree with you on the wrap dress, I tried a few dresses, but they looked quite frumpy on me. I prefer the shirt dress as well. 😅
Frumpy is a good word for it. Yes I have to agree totally! Thank you for watching!

I love your outfit here 💚
Thank you Erin! Thanks for watching!
Thank u Maria ..all u said ..I agree with ..can u do same for zara ..?
Hi Rasha! Thank you so much. So glad you agree! Zara would be a good option to try next.
Great information! You and I must have very similar taste since i agreed with all your comments. Yes, please do more like this. Claire
Hi Claire, I'm so glad you agree! I appreciate your comment a ton. Thank you so much for being here.

Enjoyed your video and your tips and suggestions, I'll use them at h and m and also in general, thank you!
Hi Janet, I'm so glad you found it helpful. Thank you for watching.
I love ur opinion on wrap dresses. I always thought I was that one weird person they just never worked for!🤣
You're not alone Theresa! I think I speak for a lot of women. So glad you agree! Thank you for watching.
I love your videos and style! I had to subscribe. Can I ask, where is the black cardigan you wearing from?
Aww thank you so much! I'm so happy to have you here. It's actually a navy cardigan :) I really love it. I got it from Uniqlo and it looks like it's sold out. I'm sorry!
Great video!
Thanks Mercedes! Good to see you!
Hi, I think the shoes were called "Candies", if I'm not mistaken. :)
Oh thanks Genia!!!
Bold patterns hide the poor fabric that doesn't drape well or hang well. That's why H&M uses them a lot.
AHHH That is a good explanation! Didn't think of that. Thank you!

@@MariaNicoleStyle I shop mainly boutiques, I do shop Nordstrom, Lilly Silk and montelle intimates.
Why mom jeans? I’m skinny, short but hav large rib cage , thick waist, no hips thine legs

H&M needs to stop their animal print obsession
No, never. Animal prints (especially the leopard print) are here to stay! Animal prints can be worn classy.😅
I can tolerate animal print as a small part of the outfit, definitely not for a full look.
Very informative video and not a fan of H&M!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully it can be used as a general reference not necessarily only for H&M. Thank you for watching.
Espradilles so dated :
I beg to differ as they are a popular style for the summer and come back season after season but please always wear what you love :)
