Actually I like this more. Hearing raining in the background while you tapping on those books really gets me 🙈🙈🙈I hope you make more of your videos like this in the future 🤍🤍🤍
@@SilverfishASMR I started with the 'Wayfarers' series and the first one is now one of my absolute favourite books ever! it's a wonderful series, it's clever, funny, but also sad and imo an interesting sci-fi world with some action. And then I read the two Monk&Robot ones which are shorter and not as intense and it's more about the world they built and emotions, but still beautifully written and also fun! :)
@@TheBalkanheart ah, the long way to a small angry planet - ive added it to my list of books to look out for. Thanks so much for the recommendation! ✨✨
Thank you so much for doing the book tag! I loved getting an insight into the books that make you who you are it was wonderful to watch💗 I loved the rain and the beautiful books, love your channel so much xxx
@@katiealiceasmr Thank you so much for the tag, I enjoyed doing the video a lot :) haha the rain gets a bit crazy somewhere in the middle but luckily quietened down so I could carry on filming 🙏 I love your channel too, I am straight there when you upload, you have a lovely calming energy 😊 xxx
@@SilverfishASMR that’s so sweet of you to say thank you! I loved how you just sat back and couldn’t fathom how loud the rain got😂 lovely video as always, your videos are like sitting down with a friend always 🌟🧡
@@katep5869 thank you for commenting and watching ☺️☺️ so glad the rain was kind of cosy 🤣🤣 it was so intense I thought I'd have to stop filming but luckily it chilled out!!
I enjoyed the rain sounds! Also, yessss I had a Twilight cult when i was younger too!! It was the best! I honestly wish i could read Twilight again for the first time that book gave me ALL the feels
@@ComfortingSoundsASMR Haha, I'm glad you understood where I was coming from then!! I think for those who read and loved it when it came out it will always mean something a bit more 😅 thanks for commenting!
It took me a couple nights to finish this, but I wanted to before I commented! Thank you so much for tagging me!! ☺️ I definitely want to answer these questions even though some are tough. ❤️ I've read The Martian by Andy Weir, so Project Hail Mary has gotta go on my TBR. A garlic being going to find a vampire? 🤣 As always, a relaxing yet fun video! 🙂
Hah, in recently lent the little garlic books to my mum as she's not been well and she loved them, which actually quite surprised me! Those books are so wholesome and lovely artwork. Ooo I think you'd love Project Hail Mary - be ready for some science but also for sooo much more. Thanks for commenting, and if you do the tag I hope you enjoy! 😊❤️
For sci-fi that makes you cry, I recommend Dogs of War by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Hate the title, loved the book and the characters and their development. And it makes you think about what it means to be human. Also loved the sequel, Bear Head!
I think I have heard of this, and yes I agree hate the title, but glad you've described it to me so I can keep a look out as it sounds like all the things id enjoy. Thank you for commenting ☺️
Loved Enid Blyton. My favourite was Snicker the Brownie, I always remember the goblin, cats tails and the wizard ❤ I haven’t read the two Grady Hendrix books although they are on my list. I read their book Horrorstor, I also didn’t like it and found it boring
Yes it is oddly boring for saying the preface of the book, you'd expect a lot more excitement!! The other gradys though are really excellent imo. Ahhh Enid, I don't think I remember that one but the goblins, cats tails and wizard sound about bang on for Enid 🤣 thanks for commenting!
Meg, you MUST absolutely must see Anne of Green Gables with Megan Follows from the 1980s. It’s so perfect. I’ve seen Anne with an E which is good but the other one is the gold standard. Please watch it!
I've heard this but I have a feeling because I have seen Anne with an E first and loved it so much I'm going to struggle with different actors and actresses portraying these characters! I did watch a trailer for it and already struggled 🤣 I should give it a go as it's one of my favorites of all time... But I'm apprehensive!
I get so excited when i see you upload a new video because i know I'm always in for a relaxing time, i appreciate the work you put into them a lot! 😊
@@asdfg4012 thank you so much Im so happy to hear you enjoy the videos 😊😊
the thunderstorm ambience was really nice actually! Enid Blyton is also one of my favorite childhood authors!
Oh I'm so glad it wasnt too much!! And always good to meet a fellow Enid fan ☺️ 💚
Your faces while waiting out the rain cracked me up 😂 I do the same thing when airplanes keep flying over when I’m filming ❤
Hahaha I was gonna just cut it out but it was making me chuckle when editing so I thought why not 🤣 glad it gave you laugh 🤣
I absolutely adored this video, so cozy with the rain sounds and the books sounds you make are perfect as usual♥️

For cozy sci-fi I can recommend Becky Chambers' books! I adore her writing ☺️
Oh wow they have some great reviews! Thanks for the recommendation, I hadn't heard of the author. Are there any books youd recommend I start with?
