@@joelrubio42the real fans are not surprised at all this has slowly happened for 8 years, the 7-0 humiliation against chile is the beginning of this phase. And we know the reason. Corruption. I totally agree with Ale, in the fact that Venezuela dreamt with a victory at all cost. They felt from the beginning in the possibility of winning, and made it possible because they gave it all. The defense was fearless, Rondon as a forward was a really hard machine to be stopped. Great game guys, congrats to Venezuela, ando also to this ESPN FC Team which are professionals, passionates and entertainers. Regards from Argentina
I can understand chanting Olé, olé in the final 15 minutes of a game in which the ball position is dominated (high in the 80%), winning by a point 0-1 or a goleada… but 0-0 (nothing have been decided). That's fuel for the opposing team, even if they don't win the game, you're giving them motivation to shut your mouth out of arrogance.
Only goleada and when the match is already done. Some may do it against their own team for playing bad as a punishment. But the ole is just for goleadas against a better team or clásico. A 0-0 12 minutes ole shows the type of crowd you have. 0 knowledge of fútbol folklore and lack of chanting songs.
No the game was over before it started. Venezuela before the match gave mexico their flag/logo and mexcio didn't give one back. That was the disrespect Venezuela needed to win the game.
@@tacticalmanagerbabymommaak5825 im talking about the ole chanting from the mexican crowd. Which has nothing to do with what you say. Thou, if it is true (i didn´t see that), is something to take into consideration too for another comment. But nothing to do with the chanting.
im mexican and all i want to say is congrats to Venezuela they performed with believe and pride and helped expose the problems that our Mexican national team have.
On the flip side, Venezuela’s coach putting 7 defenders the last 10 minutes of the match was a mistake….. they were lucky MX didn’t tie or even won that game in the last stretch. Hate when coaches load the defense line with bodies
Is no one going to talk about how Mexico just wants to fight everytime they lose ? Bad sportsmanship in my opinion. Venezuela knew to press those buttons and Mexico let them. Vamos Venezuela 🇻🇪

Let me guess, you’re Mexican? 😂🤣 Nobody in South America considers Mexico a high quality opponent. Only Mexicans see themselves that way. Venezuela beat Argentina in 2014 in a WC qualifier. The Venezuelans were celebrating because they advanced to the next round with that win not because they beat lowly Mexico.

Playing in Europe is not the answer to better players and better teams. Ask Jamaica, Brazil and many others. You gain technical ability but you loose cultural acumen.
That's relative. All of the Argentine players that won the World Cup play in Europe (with the exception of two substitutes), same as most of the Brazilian squad from 2002. What matters most is team cohesion and a coach that knows what they're doing, but having most of your players in the most competitive leagues doesn't harm either.
@@tomasmaniago5832 Argentina is practically a European country in South America. You might need a better example. Football above everything else is culture.
Worst Mexican team I've ever watched. I grew up watching Luis Hernandez, Blanco, Campos, Marquez, Ramirez, Borgetti, Hermosillo and Sanchez. This current squad doesn't even have a talisman or a desire to steam roll other teams. A disgrace.
it was a good victory for venezuela and, a good lost to mexico, in resume it was a good game, to understand, mexico need to keep the coach and the players playing together to find themselves in the field se llama juego de conjunto, since we don't have big players ro make a difference.
Mexico has the team their crowds deserve. Chanting "olee olee" at the 10th minute mark, while the score was leveled at 0, and only CBs and Full backs passing the ball to each other, with no pressing from Venezuela, ridiculous. And also shouting that thing they are not allowed to say at the end of the game, when they were certain there was no chance for a draw.
The only reason why Mexico were more dangerous without Santi is because that’s when Lozano brought on actual creative players and players who can and want to cross the ball into the box. The whole game antuna was nonexistant, quinoñes lost the ball soo many times and didn’t when he did cross it once it was when Santi wasn’t in. Should Santi have scored that 1v1…. Yes of course. But how can we expect Santi to score for Mexico when he only gets 1-2 sniffs at the goal because nobody creative is in the field for Mexico. Every time Santi got the ball it was him having to drop back into his own half to receiving a pass at the half way line. Santi should have played better but I can’t blame him completely with the players Lozano chooses to have around him when he is in.
Only way I can see Mexico getting better at this point is some type of disaster that no one can ignore reminiscent of when the US not qualifying for the 2018 World Cup. Not saying I want it to happen but getting grouped in 2022 at a World Cup you’re hosting might be the only thing that’ll bring real structural change to this federation.
