What i did was i would stop chewing one finger at a time so the first week i wouldnt bite my pinkies then the next week id add my ring fingers then the next week middle fingers and the next week thumbs and the next week pointer fingers (i chewed my pointer fingers the most so thats why i did those last) Youll have times where youll fail and chew them but just keep it up. I also started obsessively painting and taking care of my nails. It took my 4 full years to break the habit. Dont give up it takes a long time to fully stop

Always wear a clear base coat on your nails to make them stronger. If you do that there will always be an extra layer on your nail, making them stronger. Also, be sure that when you're putting the base coat on, you get it under your nail too. ( not actually under it. That will hurt a lot...duh ) but when your nail is long enough that you can see under it, you can put your base coat under your nail for extra protection.
the Burt's Bees Cuticle Cream is great also because lemon has a mild whitening agent in it and if you use it on your whole nail, it'll help whiten the tips. Eventually i could go with just buffed nails if I wanted to because they looked like a low key French Manicure. I adore it! I'm not big on lemon, but the scent isn't super strong or harsh. It's more of a sweet lemon. It's really helpful for all those reasons on TOP of really effectively softening cuticles without the more risky cuticle melting or expensive alternatives people use. A really solid product! The almond milk hand and foot cream is also perfect before you break out the sandals for the year!

Nail hardeners can make your nails prone to snapping because it prevents your nails from bending when under certain amounts of pressure so I would stick with a normal base coat 😊

Pipi Realca what I use is a nail brush. It’s like a toothbrush, and u can use a toothbrush if ur on a budget! But amazon has some pretty good brushes. I recommend wood or metal bc I had a plastic one and it doesn’t hold up very good!

I have just started using polygel when I started menopause I noticed my natural nails we're splitting and peeling and cracking at the site so I started getting gel overlays on my natural nails. Now I'm switching to polygel Nails I do like them. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial about how to use the polygel correctly on your natural nail without nail forms or any of that stuff. Cuz I ended up with a nice-looking set of nails but it took me awhile to level them down I don't know what I did wrong. Actually, this is how to keep your nails healthy and long and stuff. I have a nail hack tho: If you have at least _some_ nails, then what i do to make them look longer is bend my nails to my finger. For example, bend your nail as far as you can to your thumb (like, the "fingerprint" part, idk what its called tbh) continuously until you see a length that can do for you. It works for me, but idk if it'll work for you. I hope this helps

what i do is just apply a coat of clear nail polish and overtime they grow. you can’t speed up the process but you can help prevent breakage

Actually, this is how to keep your nails healthy and long and stuff. I have a nail hack tho:
If you have at least _some_ nails, then what i do to make them look longer is bend my nails to my finger. For example, bend your nail as far as you can to your thumb (like, the "fingerprint" part, idk what its called tbh) continuously until you see a length that can do for you. It works for me, but idk if it'll work for you.
