Brijin, you are so creative! The Eras quilt is GENIUS, and I can't wait to watch it come together. Love seeing your progress on your WIPs, too :) Thanks for so many great book recommendations - I'm off to read "The Echo of Old Books" and "Funny Feelings" asap! Have a great couple weeks, and happy stitching 💜
Loved hearing about ALL the crafts and book reviews! I'm in complete of awe of everything you are able to get done 😍 Side note - I'm totally obsessed with the glass you have your margarita in!!!!!
Oh my gosh Brijin, you are full of SO many great ideas! Your video made me happy from start to finish and I loved seeing and hearing about all your different projects. What a lucky mom you have - I knit a Ranunculus a few years ago and it’s one of my go to sweaters. Happy Crafting! -Carolyn
Aww, thank you!! That's so sweet, especially coming from an amazing knitter and stitcher like you!🥰❤️ I can't wait to have it finished! I may have to knit another one for myself!
Your cat at the end has me rolling 😂😂. He’s the best. I can’t wait to see the progress on your rose Quaker. That is absolutely amazing. Your Taylor themed stitches and quilting are fabulous! With you on the no buy. I also want to save for stitch con, I feel the same as you though. Happy with my stash and I’m not sure I really need to buy all that much outside of fabrics and fancy flosses. Also woohoo to being caught up on your reading goals. You’re amazing, love you so much!
He def gave me enough for a bloopers reel this week!😂 I'm glad you're with me on the no buy! Honestly I don't think I can stick to it unless y'all are in it with me, I'm too easily enabled!😂
@@TheMuseumStitcher lol I’m the same way. I was like SCORE when cam said she is also doing the no buy. So much easier when you have other people with you 😂💓
I have had a devastating back injury and cannot stitch for the foreseeable future so I am living vicariously through your stitching and loving every minute of it! A few weeks ago you also inspired me to pick up ACOTAR and I was able to start 3 stitches inspired by the books before the injury, so I can identify with "Tayloring" your projects towards other passions.
Oh I'm so sorry, sending you wishes for speedy healing! I'm so glad you loved ACOTAR! And I'm also definitely obsessed with the term "Tayloring"😂 I'll be using that all the time now!
Love your variety and enthusiasm! Thank you for the peek into your craft space! I used to quilt and even won a blue ribbon at our community fair. Perhaps you've re-ignited an interest for me again...I generally read most when I'm off camping somewhere and cross-stitch when I'm not. Your color adaptation was fantastic and I look forward to seeing the completed project! Until next time...
I love your idea for the Eras quilt. I saw someone doing the crochet blanket but also don’t use my crochet blankets much. So I’ll just wait for you to figure out all the details and then buy your pattern. Love it! ❤ This will be a cool way to remember the concert with my daughter. We had so much fun and love seeing all the videos as other people attend.
I love the knitting and quilting content. I am also multicraftual and love doing all the things. I love the way you adapt your hobbies into your love of Taylor Swift. It is very clever and will give those projects so much meaning for you. Gotta love a "helpful" kitty too.
The color of your moms sweater is so pretty. Oh, thank you for posting about the cottonwood quilt. I have some larger panels/prints I've been wondering what to do with. Yours is gorgeous.
Oh my gosh, I'm DYING! Your conversion of the Rose Quaker is gorgeous!! I'm also going to be trying out some quilts, so I appreciate your tips. I'm gonna have to check out the Frost series, thanks for the rec!
After your last flosstube I had to get the Bountiful blooms pattern too!! I started today for my birthday start. Thanks for showing it, love it! By the way, I love your new hairstyle off your face, looks very good on you!
😍 The Oddities SAL looks so fun! I’m not joining so I’ll live vicariously through you guys. 😅 I bought a Carolyn Manning pattern today to join in. 🥳 Great job on the knitting! Cute quilt! 😊 Have fun at Stitch Con! ❤
Lol me too! I couldn't believe I couldn't keep my own crafting history straight on this one!😂 But at least it was entertaining! Have a great rest of your week too!
I understand your changing between knitting and cross stitching😊 it is easier to Pick up a knitting project if you just have 10 min to wast than a cross stich one😅 love your videos!
I was just checking UA-cam last night for “Quilttube” as I enjoy the friendly little chats on flosstube about patterns and projects and progress and hauls but I was just getting tutorials. It definitely is a harder craft to showcase but it was great to hear your projects and pattern making.
I agree, Dance of the Burning Sea was the best of the three Musai books but they were all interesting. And the ending was 100% satisfying. Loved to see your projects, crosstitch and otherwise! I have kind of lost my stitchy bug for the moment so it's nice to get a bit of inspiration to jump back in :)
Not me hanging on every word of quilt talk and legit pining over the Eras quilt even though I’m not a Swiftie 😂 I can’t wait to see how those colors come together as each concert date happens!!!
Lol!! I'm glad it was coherent enough to follow! Talking about quilting (which is essentially colorful geometry) in the abstract seemed like people would just skip though it! It's really fun to have a mystery quilt going that nobody knows how it'll turn out!
Hello! I love all the conversions you are making. You have an eye for colour matching that's for sure. And why not all the starts?! Really liked your book talk.
Love the new starts for May, I’ve got about 4 or 5 planned myself which is so weird to say given I have been a monogamous stitcher since forever ago! - Nic x
DFW has quilt shops. Suddenly Sewing, Sew it Up Bernina, Quilt Among Friends, Berry Patch Fabrics. Those are all within about a 30 min drive of downtown Fort Worth. Dallas has more shops as well. I know of at least one library in the metro that has its own long arm quilting machine (booked up months in advance typically) as well.
Love the Rose Quaker conversion! Such a fun way to reimagine it. I’m intrigued by Greenhouse of Oddities. Looking forward to seeing parts revealed and people’s stitching. Also can’t wait to see your stitching on Spring Moon, I think the Oyster Shell is so pretty with those colors and the darker magenta floss. So impressed with all your reading! I’ll have to check out Funny Feelings, needing a good new contemp romance. And The Echo of Old Books sounds right up my alley, I haven’t heard of that one but sounds so good, maybe it’ll be my next audiobook!
Can Fergus be any cuter? LOVE your Taylor Swift concert quilt idea... can't wait to see it completed. I love to read so really enjoy your book section. Thank you!
I don't think he could be, but I am partial to that little face!🥰 And thank you, it's always nice to hear that people like hearing about the other crafts and hobbies too!
Still recovering from the fact that you read 12 books since your last video 😱 Love to see the knitting and the quilting! The Ranunculus for your mom is so pretty; I’d love to be able to do one like that when I get a little more confident knitting garments!
Lol, me too! I don't know what possessed me recently! I actually highly recommend the ranunculus, it's my first ever garment and it's been very easy so far! Garment knitting still scares me though!😂
WOW... all caught up with you. Love to quilt (although it has been awhile), read & of course cross stitch. Just finished all the Harry Potter books, reading (for the 4th time: Gone with the Wind). Also some more Agatha Christie.
@@TheMuseumStitcher In 2016, I had a New Year's Resolution to read all her work. Have read ALMOST everything Agatha Christie ever wrote (now about 3 or 4 times). Never regretted that resolution. She never fails me !
I have the same problem with hand sewing where the needle bites into my finger. I just tried some ThimblePad stick-on leather drops that I received from Fat Quarter Shop in a box. They are fantastic and you won't even know it's there. It has literally saved my fingertip!!
Ooh I'll have to try those! I tried some of the plastic thimble pads, but they kept un-sticking and I was too aware of them! I just added them to my cart for my next purchase, thanks for the rec!
Wow! The new colors you chose for the Quaker piece are stunning. Looks so fun to stitch ❤
Love all your wips. Happy crafting!
I am loving the quilting content!!! You are inspiring me so much 💞
Loved everything! I celebrate your stitching and making your choices have meaning to you. Happy stitching, my friend.
Thank you Sarah!!🥰
Beautiful Ranunculus!!❤ Love your versatility 😊 Happy Stitching!!!
Thank you! Happy stitching to you too!
I can’t wait to see your mothers knitted top finished! Looking great! Also your quilt I can’t wait to see!
Me too! Thank you!
Great flosstube! Loved it all. Looking forward to seeing your Cottonwoods quilt finished.Thank you.
