I don't mind if you would put different stuff here or make another channel, I'll watch it anyway, so I think it depends on if you think it could maybe mess up the algorithm?
As long as there is more Gooey content, I won't really mind what format it comes in or what channel you use. :) But also, I don't want you to feel like it's more work.
Hi, Thank you for the Q&A? Will it cheong? - this could be the title. And inside you could post Korean recipes of cheong, and how to use. + pictures of cheong jars with Gooi next to it 😻
Yes to second channel and 💯💯yes to seeing more gooey because I think I was here just after you got her and would have liked to have seen her bit more, just to see her growing up… if you are ready and prepared for bit more work and there’s a good rhythm going here, go for it - il definitely subscribe to the channel 👏🏻👏🏻
Would you consider trying to make kefir or cheese? Basically cultured milk products since you seem to like the probiotic benefits of fermented foods. An idea for a travel vlog involving coffee if you ever get a sponsorship deal with Trade coffee, similar to what Jun's Kitchen does with Japanese snack box Sakuraco.
Love the style and quality of your videos, Johnny! They’re always so well done. Could you share what camera gear you use, including the camera model and lenses? Keep up the amazing work!
What warm spices or herbs might ferment well with kimchi or morkovcha (the Koryo Saram answer to kimchi) besides hot peppers or paprika (sweet peppers)?
Do you have issue with those bormioli flip top jars rusting in fridge. Only brand that i have that issue with. All the cheap ones i have are clean. Sadly they are not interchangeable.
@@sunnyblossom_711 thank you! I've watched mostly his short form videos about fermenting, but I haven't really seen many of the videos about his family

Thanks for the Q&A. You have a blessed life. I’ve been watching the historical fiction series Pachinko and think you look a little like actor Lee Minho. Have you seen it?
You lived in Australia briefly a year or so ago right? Have you spent much time there over your life? I ask because as an Australian who started watching around that time you sound very Australian to me. I was somewhat surprised when you said you were British/Korean and grew up in those two countries haha.
i lived there for a year back in 2016-17, i did pick up a few australian mannerisms. but i would say the aussie sounding is more of a result of growing up with an english accent, but going to international schools and being surrounded by american people
@@JohnnyKyunghwo Interesting, thanks for clarifying. I must have been looking at older videos than i thought! Yeah that would make sense, sometimes the difference between a particular Australian accent and English accent can be quite small (my sister often gets told she sounds English when she isn't), the other factors no doubt helped. Thanks for answering this mystery because i've been wondering it for a while haha
I did see on an earlier short that you were half English. I was wondering how that affected military service. Also, yay UA-cam videos! I only watch on UA-cam

It’s great you don’t have to do military service!
How did leash training Gooey work out if you’ve tried it?
shes okay with the harness on, but not too keen on the outside lol
theres also not much opportunity to take her out safely since she is in seoul now
Big yes on the second channel!
I've been watching you on UA-cam, where else are you?

You could make a fermentation book and I’d buy so many.
