I work for a soap manufacturer so I know how these type of bars are made. There is actually just a small percentage of authentic African black soap in the bars and black dye is added to give the bar its color. If you are looking for the authentic African black soap I would get it from another source.

OMG coconut oil gave me the worst breakout of my life. Took me 6 months to get cleared up. I found out it's highly comedogenic. I'm so glad you found what works for you! It's clearly working. Beautiful skin. I know all about the acne struggle it's tough.

Great vid! I just want to add something that I didn’t see covered - How to treat the area around your eyes. Well this area is really delicate so one needs to be extra gentle. This skin is about 6-10 times thinner than the rest of your face. So avoid rubbing, pulling, harsh products and absolutely DON”T use your facial cleanser for your eyes (most cleansers actually have this warning on the packaging). True story.

Amazing skin. Seeing the before and after gives me a little hope, although my spots are redder because I have cystic acne. I've used black soap in the past too. I do feel like my skin responds better to natural products like the Simple brand, but I don't know. My acne is just so bad. I also use a brush too but I don't use it everyday. Right now I'm trying a Vanicream bar (it's soap free) to get rid of my spots first. In the meantime, I just trying to eat more veggies and drink more water to get rid of my acne. Loved this video!!! Please do more on skin :)

I'm going to get everything I need for this skincare regimen and help my 16 year old son get started on this routine for his face. The acne he has really affects his self esteem, not to mention that the expensive acne creams I've purchased only seem to clear his skin temporarily then the acne comes back with a vengeance! I'm hoping this works and offers permanent results for his skin. TFS!

I love the helpfulness of this video and I love the desire that u have to educate.Something interesting that is being taught abt spinning face brushes is that they are not necessarily the best and the ones that don't spin are not always cheap. recent studies have shown that the spin brush actually pull and tug on the skin especially when the brush automatically spins and the user is rotating the brush simultaneously. the vibrations are the main ones at play here uncloging pores from dirt and debris and breaking up dead skin cells. either way with a brush that spins or not, u will get a much deeper clean than with traditional hand washing. again thanks for the info, just wanted to share what I've learned.

So I started off using coco oil to take off my makeup, then when I ran out of my usual face cleanser and moisturizer I decided to start using black soap to cleanse and try coco oil as a moisturizer. I've also been lusting after this exact brush for over a year. I just started this regimen with rose hip oil. I added a couple drops of olive oil . I add my oils directly after washing while water is still on it . It makes a difference. My skin glows and isn't dry . It's smooth and my skin isn't dry or oily. I don't even use moisturizer anymore . Makes my melanin glow . I may still get a few hormonal pimples but it has done wonders in the few weeks . I also started back using my clarasonic .

You are gorgeous! Your skin is so pretty 🙂. I use either olive oil or almond oil to take my makeup off too. I put almond oil on my face as a moisturizer. 👍👍

You just answered my prayers! I have oily skin too and used black soap occasionally. I wasn't sure what moisturizer to use but I will give this a try. Thanks!!!

Great video I had same issue until recently. I use black soap and facial brush twice a day and then Aloe Vera Gel and moisturizer.
