I just absolutely hate how oblivious I was to who the master and the monster was the ENTIRE TIME. After watching so many people react to this show, I see how many people figured it out real quick and I can see the CLUES.
At first I was a bit oblivious as well but I started to notice how they barely showed Laurel and I know how shows want to make you think that it's one of the characters you see a lot. It started getting obvious she was one of them because we barely saw her. I knew it wasn't Xavier after the middle of the 4th episode because it was getting too obvious and that would just be stupid if they made him the killer because every knew. For Tyler, I honestly just didn't want to believe it but I kinda knew because sometimes he just seemed so sarcastic while talking and when the monster would randomly show up where Wednesday was, he was the only person other than Xavier knowing where Wednesday was so that was a dead giveaway. I do feel bad for Tyler tho because he was abused into being manipulated by the Hyde and Laurel literally drugged him to be the Hyde so it's not his fault and I genuinely believe he is in love with Wednesday because just the way he looks at her and flirts. Also, the Hyde part of himself is controlling him. You can tell if you look in his eyes in the confession scene. He is tearing up I know that's Tyler trying to break free. I really hope Tyler can actually have control over his own brain next season.

okay, i feel bad for Tyler's dad. he's been in some serious denial about his kid. Know who i DON'T trust? Goody. I think she has an endgame that involves using Wednesday. There's a reason Jenna plays both parts, and i think Goody "broke off" a part of her soul to partially reincarnate as Wednesday, and now that she went into her i think she's going to try to take her as a vessel. Also, Morticias warning to Wednesday about Goody, i don't think the writers would have her say that for no reason at all.

I'm still a tyler and wednesday shipper but i really liked the way they made every little thing connected. when he caught her/she bumped into him she alwas saw visions about the monster, the mom issue was a important part but they always gave almost nothing about that. the way mr thornhill/laurel smiled at him at the party and etc.
But well, even with him being the Hyde, his character becomes more interesting because there's a lot to explore, the double personality the psychiatric talked about, the monster being based on Jekyll and Hyde, the one who wrote the diary of outcasts never giving the Hyde a conclusion leaving to Wednesday to finish it makes sense to her character.
I can definitely see the enemies to lovers vibe happening (i hope) but I do feel like he's going to have more development, even a redemption arc.
I personally don't ship Wednesday with anyone, and I wasn't sold on Xavier. But I did think that Tyler was the monster, but by how he acted I wondered if he was just... unknowing. Like he wasn't aware of this other side of him, so when he said "to lose" that sent me like holy shit. Loved that moment.

A lot of people hate the love triangle and they say Wednesday shouldn’t have a love interest. But, it may just be my extreme love for romance in general, I think seeing Wednesday experiencing new things is very interesting
I agree, I just think romance tends to make any show or movie just more interesting, feel more real, even tho I know some people don't care about romance or are aromantic, majority do experience it and idk, i also thing it fits for this show to have romance in it, it's a nice character development for Wednesday, although I do wish it could have been with Enid or Bianca but blablabla enough forced gay stuff or smth like that LOL I do wonder how it's gonna play out in season 2 tho.

You summed up perfectly just how bad her skills were. She was worse than a rookie and most certainly no Sherlock Holmes. I admired her confidence in her “belief” that she was right; but this only showed she has terrible instincts. Hopefully season 2 will have where she LEARNED from her mistakes.

Remember that hyde is Jeykill and Hyde. "It's like im talking to a different person" kinbott says. His personality changes. His innocent "act was as true as the "evil and cold" act. Hes both. Thats why he was so easy to believe and feel bad for. Think of Doc Oc from Spiderman
You gotta keep in mind they didn't name themselves someone gave them the name, someone without a full understanding cause Faulkner was trying to understand the nature of their bond, and free will when he died so we don't know that kinbott could be referring to him not being able to keep up the act when his mom comes up like how he always lashes out with the dad over it.

Your line of reasoning with Tyler in ep. 6 was exactly how I figured out that he was the monster. If he wasn't the monster, he would have been dead so for him to walk away from the encounter and only come away with a few scratches, that was it for me.
I thought it was Thornhill from the very beginning, but you definitely figured out Tyler much faster than I did. I didn't see that one coming at all

I knew Tyler was the monster since they showed the monster’s face cuz it looked exactly like Tyler. I got a bit of hesitation when they showed the drawings & seeing how every Hyde looks the same but they luckily revealed he was the Hyde in the same episode so I didn’t get fooled for long. And although I knew he was the Hyde I was still on board the ship. I thought Tyler might not be aware but my ship was shattered when he revealed he had been aware of his actions the whole time 🥲

tyler was definitely manipulated into this, thornhill used his trauma about his mother against him and you can see throughout the show that he’s suffering like when he screams under the water in ep 3, need his redemption arc
well he didnt suffer as much as all those ppl he viciously killed. And he also very much enjoyed it. The only person who was manipulated here was Wednesday. Tyler loved gaslighting her the entire time.

@@lqvesongs in the beginning it was his masters fault, but in the scene of his confession we see he's come to love his role. He's a psycho. Him changing his eyes showed him going back into his victim-mode character.
It's possible he'll get a redemption arc next season, but with the things we know now Tyler can not be treated like a victim. At least for now.

He was literally abused and drugged into being the Hyde from Laurel and now the Hyde is stuck in him. And Wednesday is a Sycho too. She literally killed 2 people at her old school and almost killed a third one.

They're outcasts, witches & other supernaturals but they have a huge capacity for love & dont hurt any1 unless they mess with the family. Even then they give normal humans many chances & laugh off the things that are done to them (except Wednesday who doesnt laugh ever). They're not cruel for no reason. That's their lore. That's cannon. I'd say those boys that bullied her brother, stuffed him in a locker & laughed while he cried were more psychopathic b/c Pugsley doesnt bother any1.
As for Tyler.... i actually like that theory of there being 2 parts of him now. The Hyde part being the sadist/ violent murderer & Tyler/Jekyl being trapped. That however is not in the scene. Tyler remembers all of it. He knew he was the Hyde the entire time & gaslit/ manipulated everyone into thinking he was innocent, all while he was very much regular Tyler (not cold Hyde).
Its not confirmed AT ALL that he cant control it.
Also think back to right b4 he confessed. He looked normal when he said 'how does it feel'.. then went right back to looking normal when he walked away after his confession. Right back to playing innocent.
He's been playing in everyone's face the entire time so it doesnt make ANY sense to give him the benefit of the doubt. In season 2, if more is revealed then cool, but right now Tyler is a psychotic serial killer.
At the end, lots of people think it’s Enid who sent the photos because she had just walked away from Wednesday and stayed on the bottom floor. If you look closely, when the camera turns back to Wednesday, you see her in the back talking to someone. Therefore the chances of Enid being the stalker are very low. I’m think Yoko or Bianca! 😊

Just because he was the Hyde doesn't mean that there's not a Tyler in him. Most scenes it's actually Tyler. Laurel drugged him and abused him into being the Hyde and the Hyde half of himself controls him. Tyler can't catch a break. That is why I'm still team Tyler. There is still a Tyler in there and I'm not giving up on him. Xaiver's cute and all but Tyler is first choice and will always be. Tyler didn't deserve any of this. He was even trying to find out who he really was in the beginning and screamed in the bathtub. He was hurting. So I'm not switching just because he turned out to be a manipulated serial killer.

Not the main point but I do kind of like Lucas spending time with Bianca and slowly starting to redeem months/years of being an asshole, right down to helping Wednesday by searching his dads computer history.
This will sound like bad fan fiction I know but next season I want to see him sitting with Bianca, Wednesday, Enid, Eugene, and Xavier either at the coffee shop or at the quad in the school (my idea being that in light of Weems's vision to create a bridge between the town of Jericho and Nevermore Academy they allow Lucas to attend an occasional lecture or class on a part-time/casual basis if he continues to do community service there) discussing the next bizarre incident has been taking place in the area - after a time when he's been humble, remorseful and apologetic enough with one or two cases of minor grovelling for Enid and Eugene to be mostly civil to him after what he put them through.

Wednesday didn't frame Xavier. She was opening random drawers and found items planted by Tyler or Laurel. It was false accusations on Wednesday's end, she fell for other characters frames.

Wednesday clearly did it. The whole police force was there within a minute of her arriving and they were ready to arrest him for the murders. She planned this with the sheriff. Wednesday said it herself "Tyler manipulated me into framing Xavier". It cannot be more clear than that 🤨

At the Rave’N I knew it was thornhill because she knew his full name, when tyler said her usual order at the cafe, she said it was a small world and it was hard to keep secrets. Wednesday replied “yeah” and looked at tyler like she kind of suspected him but didnt really think too much about it. I feel that the new stalker is Enid (most likely) or Yoko. For enid’s reason, it was because alot of the monsters/masters were all nice like tyler kissed wednesday and thornhill was the kindest teacher to her. Enid is usually at weathervane so she could easily take the picture without getting noticed and before Wednesday as talking to Xavier, Enid actually left the scene and wasnt seen anywhere. As for Yoko, she could also be the stalker because she was Enid’s former best friend and could have felt like Wednesday stole Enid from her. Yoko was also in alot of scenes as a background character so.. yeah! What do you think?

!!SPOILER ALERT FOR THE MOVIE!!
I knew it was tyler when he went to the date at crackstones crypt, it was all a distraction so that Ms. Thornhill, or shall I say Laurel Gates, could stab thing. The black Dahlia flower gave him away at the date bc he knows thornhill, and thornhill knows wednesday likes the black dahlia.And that episode could have lots more. Like thornhill could walk in as theyre on the date, and use wednesday's blood even earlier to awake Crackstone. All that just gave it away. And i think the reason that Xavier had things from all the people the hyde attacked is like he was also investigating about the hyde because he obviously had some connection or way to help since he saw the hyde in his dreams, and also predicted Kinbott's death. And if anyone didnt know, Xavier said she shouldve let Rowan kill Wednesday as in like when he pushed her away from the falling gargoyle in episode one. And it kinda makes sense that Ms. Thornhill was the master. Nobody else was suspicious and also a normie in the movie.

Girl I guessed Tyler immediately, I could tell they were pushing him towards Wednesday too much so Xavier had to be the ship that sails and he had to be bad. I didn’t know he was the monster right off the back tho I just knew he had something to do with it. Then I knew the teacher was involved when she got inside the nightshade place, plus Christina Ricci (OG Wednesday) ain’t here for nothing. Also I was team Xavier the whole time he was just an all around better character and his power is hella cool to me and I like all his teenage angst he’d be a better match for Wednesday if anybody would. I also think in season 2 we will see Xavier’s fam and I think his dad may be the stalker

There is a scene in the earlier episodes where Thornhill talks about how she gets her daily matcha latte, with the mayor. Then in the dance episode her and Tyler meet their and Tyler talks about a daily drink, that was not the same. Which meant they already new each other.

Ok I remember when I first watched this show and I was a bit disappointed when they revealed who it was, but seeing your reaction and how they were being unfair to Xavier and trying to put suspicion onto him made me realize how obvious it was. That’s honestly where the writing of this show thrives.
