Now you've made some beautiful, awesome machines over the years but this one. This one you can tell is a passion project that came from the heart. It's absolutely brilliant. Well done. Grab a coffee, you've earned it.
You knocked that one right out of the park, Andrew.........what an episode! The perfect antedote to Storm Bert, who's blowing through preaently; lotta stuff going sideways round here this evening! 👏🏻🇨🇦👌🏻🇬🇧👍🏻🇨🇭 PS...........7K noted. Well done and thoroughly deserved, guv'nor 🥂
Thanks, Jack! Now and then I look at a finished project with a smile. No Storm Bert here, but we got our first big snowfall this week. It's a winter wonderland here in Switzerland! 7K and climbing slowly, thanks to you and a few faithful followers. 🍁☕️
I have been waiting for this video since you did the Hoonicorn. All of the details are spot on!! I absolutely love the hoonigan pull brake!! Wow. Simply stunning.
Thanks, Geoff! I especially enjoyed seeing the many small components in the truck bed come together. Working on a larger scale is nice too. Have a great weekend, my friend. 🍁☕️
🫡🫡🫡 incredible work on hoonitruck it's not your granfathers farm truck anymore i say that ken would have love seeing this one 🥲🥲🥲 as usual thanks for today's video and have a good weakend bye now later. P.S. Hey Maple Leaf Customs i have idea for a future video how about doing hovercar with dodge charger do you agree 🤔.
Thanks, my friend. I've got a Dodge Charger 500 coming up, but it'll be a NASCAR tribute. The hovercraft will have to wait for another day. Cool idea. 🍁☕️
Wow, so much fun! I can see the white smoke pouring out of the fenders! Great tip w/ soldering gun on removing plastic bits Can you melt down the supports to reuse in the 3D printer? So glad the EpoPutty arrived in time for this build. Will look for a larger size as I too am churning through mine. I love the Gymkhana videos. Ken Block was a great time-attack and rally driver, but when he “hooned,” he slowed down and curled a few doughnuts and reverse-spun some corners just to burn some Toyos. My favorite Gymkhana is Los Angeles, but my favorite Ken Block video is when he and my favorite F1 driver, Lewis Hamilton, played around on a track together (link: ua-cam.com/video/EFGqSQvt55I/v-deo.htmlsi=6vqK56O4edtRUw_V). Much love to you and Petra from your bud and his son in Virginia USA!
Hi, Tom! This one was a labour of love. I'm a big Ken Block fan, so I wanted to do this right. The large scale is to match my Hoonicorn Mustang from a year ago. The 3D resin that doesn't get used in a print can be strained and used over again, but the supports are trash. Of course they could be melted down, but there's lots of science involved in why they can't be recycled for more printing. I save some for Gaslands landscapes because they look like steel girders. Waste not, want not... Snowy Swiss greetings to the fam in Virginia! 🍁☕️
great result, Hoonigan's Holiday. :) but now I wonder what has been left of the original model in the end? XD not that they left much of the original truck intact. maybe interesting, but the drivetrain to the Hoonicorn Mustang seems to be made in germany. or at least engineered. I saw large billboards here advertising it, and wondered why anyone would put that 4WD drivetrain with live axles on both ends, under a 65 mustang? I didn't know about Ken Block and the Hoonigans back when, but later I learned, and relaized what I saw back then.
As I understand it, much like the original Hoonitruck, the only thing remaining original is the roofline, which I did too. Only the cab from the original casting survived this chop job! 🍁☕️
Amazing build ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥😎
Thanks, Dane! I appreciate you following each week. 🍁☕️
Amazing!
Thanks, Uri! Have a great day. 🍁☕️

Interesting to see how you do your resin printing this time!
I thought that might be something new for some viewers. It's quite an interesting process. 🍁☕️

"Everything."
"Yes of course, but I mean, uh---"
"Everything!"

What do you use for chrome
I use chrome paint, or a Molotow chrome pen. 🍁☕️
Excellent build Andrew. The details are amazing.
It definitely deserves a spot on the shelf to proudly display. 🫵👍✌️🇺🇸🇨🇦
Thanks, Steve. It's now beside the Hoonicorn Mustang on a dusty shelf. 🍁☕️
