Started in October, used to sponge twist but had a lot of breakage. After 2.5 months of deep conditioning, curl creme and the rake method, people ask me if I’ve texturised it. Even with no product,fresh out of the shower the curls are there. I have 4c hair. This works.

What would you say your hair type is? I have 4C hair it’s very thick and coarse and it barely has any curl pattern at all unless I just washed it but I’ve been trying to follow your methods and they just have not worked like at all. I just ordered a hooded dryer so hopefully I get some real result

Shampoo and condition hair on your wash day and then apply a deep conditioner hair masque to you hair for 24-30 minutes then rinse out. I usually use 2 fl oz of Shea moisture Manuka honey deep conditioner masque it’s only 3 bucks and u can get it from Walgreens or any other store. It comes in a little packets. Then I let my hair dry a little bit before applying leave in, oil, and cream. Only deep condition hair once a week.

Ive tried to curl it a few times but i couldn’t detangle all of it and make the curls stay. I didn’t have a fade when i was growing it out so the sides of my hair made it hard to detangle and curl it
Last week i got a high taper and it’s still hard to section off the hair and curl it. Next time i might just fade everything but the top so it drops and i can section off my hair. Whatchu think 🤔

My hair is a kind of afro ish i mean its pretty high but like not as high as yours like about 5 more months and you can see my hair shaking when i move my head. I have natural curls but idk how to curl it so i just leave it combed out using my afro comb but you explain everything so clearly so im gonna trust you bro ❤

Hey Bril, can I shampoo my hair, condition it and put in the deep condition and leave it overnight? Becaue I see no point in deep conditioning it then washing it out just to put curling cream and go to sleep. What would you reccomend?
You can shampoo your hair but you gotta shampoo 2-3 a week not any more because it will frizz your hair

when i do the rake method i just have ridges in my hair (where my hair sections)
what does that mean
I get the exact same thing, so what you should do is rake your hair in a circular motion with your fingers, like you would with a sponge. Shake your hair afterwards
