IAN, AS A YOUNG BLACK MAN I STAND WITH YOU!!!!
Bheki is not qualified to be a police… maybe Van-Boy at best. Cadre deployment continues to bring our beautiful country to its knees. ANC fossils aren’t used to being challenged or held accountable. He was flabbergasted to being spoken to outside the normal king-like treatment that he enjoys at Luthuli house.
BHEKI MUST GO!!! WE DON’T CARE ABOUT WHAT HE DID 40 YEARS AGO! WE NEED IMMEDIATE SOLUTIONS.

These aging ANC politburo stooges are no different than the mindless apparatchiks that ran the Apartheid regime. They have a delusional, authoritarian sense of entitlement acquired through political connections. They are shocked when someone questions their (in)competence.

Come on, Masoboda, who will protect you and your loved ones when you become victims of crime? Will these so called "struggle heroes" protect you? Honestly, do you think they care? Our family home in Limpopo was broken into, furniture cleaned out, case closed, no arrests, nothing, luckily my mother was not there so at least nothing happened to her directly. But we can't make these things about politics of Race based on hypothetical notions when we are dealing with such gruesome crimes in reality.

South Africa can be a great country for all its citizens. We just need to get rid of the looters at the top. Just vote them out.

Not sure what kind of area you live in, but perhaps checking with a small private security company in the area and organizing with the community to do patrols with them and fund assistance from private security as a community is an option.
hope you guys stay safe and we can all stop living in fear in our homes one day

Mbekezeli, my brother, it's time for change, it's time for everyone who disagrees with what they see around them, who disagrees with what the ANC has done to our beloved country to vote them out. I know everyone may not agree with the DA, but here is the thing, the only way to have a politically accountable country is if there is more than one party. You don't have to agree with everything the DA does, you only have to vote for the biggest opposition. When all South African's come to realise that we can change our government every 5 years if their actions don't match up with their promises, only then will the politicians be held to account, only then will we have the change we need.

Cele should be made to step down, he is a high profile official, he is a common low life just like the rest of them. Their days are numbered. You don't back down, you show them you are not going to be scared off by his tactics. Salute...

Police are looked at as clown by many people including myself has lost hope. I applaud you and l pray for your safety. They removed you because they can't handle the truth. His a big failure to the community together with under educated police. Big hug. Please stay safe.

Well done Ian. I say respect is earned not just given. My brother was murdered in 2005 and even though there were leads his case was not solved. My mother inquired but is put on hold and cut off. Our ministers and police should be setting the example for our communities but instead we have lots of corruption and criminality in politics and among the police. I have heard about people going to report cases where the police refuse to open a case. I have also heard of police officers that somehow complete training without being able to read and write. How do they do their job? I have also seen police sleeping while on duty. I mean is that not a form of stealing? They are paid for their time to work and taking naps behind the desk and then being rude to the member of community who wakes them up is just not right. I won't even mention police and army members themselves being involved in crimes such as cash in transit heists and farm murders. How can RSA ensure they only have the best people serving us in these positions?

Well done - proud of you for standing up for the truth - this is when you can see the difference between two people - the one who is passionate about the community and his job. And the other one who does not have a clue and is there for the money, status and his own glory.

“A very sad day for Police in South Africa”. Indeed, yet another one. Cele is totally unfit for the position of Police Minister. He behaves as though he is untouchable royalty. Wouldn’t dawn on him that he is a Civil Servant meaning a servant of the people. Rather citizens are disrespected at every turn, either though gross incompetence, downright negligence, corruption, or farcical lack of accountability like today. Shame on Cele and the SAPS who manhandled Ian Cameron out of the meeting hall today.

    Great work 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
All of what he mentioned is true. It is also clear here that most of his work is in poor and dangerous African places, and that his anger is caused by his love for his community and his country.
Every time I want to fight for African rights, I use only one hand -because the other hand is busy trying to keep away Africans who are fighting me ,,,best capture the situation we live in every day. - Benjamin Burombo
Never give up Never despair. Protection is the most important thing. If it is free of corruption, it progresses, develops, and unites society. If it is corrupt, you will find only criminals and racists.

Exactly. They are the same people who vote ANC that is taking this country to the drain. We need governance, not a joke. We need competent people in all government departments. Departments are not working. It is a collection of pensioners at work . We pay them for nothing. Incompetency must fall. We need a delivery policy. No delivery, no pay or job.

This was such an eye opening interview. South Africans are hitting the point of no return. Our society is in chaos because we have put too much faith in an organisation that is failing us. If an ordinary citizen cannot challenge its leadership on their failings and the hardships of its people. Then, they need to go. I just hope that strong leadership starts standing up for their people.
