- M&D's is the largest theme park in Scotland and first opened in 1996. The park is home to over 40 different rides and attractions including 4 roller coasters, an interactive animal walk through and various different flat rides. M&D's also has plenty of indoor areas with a large bowling alley and entertainment area located in the main entrance building.
In this vlog we explore all of the park including plenty of on ride POV's from all of the attractions we experience at M&D's. We also walk through Amazonia, the only indoor rainforest in Scotland!

Theme Park Worldwide your lucky, you went on a good day for it, half the times I go most rides are closed for some reson like when the tsunami was there I never got a chance to go on it bc it’s closed!

This is my local park. I just don't ride Tornado anymore the taller you are the worse! and I didn't ride it 2 weeks ago but I had a trip to Flamingo land and rode HERO though. Lol I think That is worse than Hero
Funfair Collector And Gaming I went on this yesterday and it wasn’t too bad, however it’s still a good ride for me and hopefully I will still go on it
Im not quite tall enough but going in June this year and I should be tall enough by then
Glad you had a good time, I live 1 hour away but never been, still such good weather means it's most def taps aff like.
Giving people golf balls that are blue and green to people is a tricky business this close to Glasgow, not to mention giving out the golf clubs first...:)

I'm one of the proudest Scots you could ever meet.
The fact they call it "Scotland's THEME PARK" makes me embarrassed to be Scottish.
It's just a run of the mill funfair that someone happened to permanently bolt to the ground.
Snap mate. I've been to the big actual theme parks down south and it doesn't even compare. Alton towers, Thorpe park, Chessington World of Adventures. Now they are what you call Theme Parks. M and D's is nothing but a glorified carnival.

M&Ds in about 10 mins away from my house but I'm not all our to go cause my mum said it's to dangerous

Landmark adventure park isn't a theme park, I've been. Not sure on one in Aberdeen but we really need a decent theme park up here

Theme Park Worldwide of course, im sure there's many that's completely abandoned and therefor have no laws/prohibition against people entering. Japan has some creepy ones, Gullivers kingdom being one. Pleasure island being one closer to home.

Their is deffintly potential for a park in Scotland hopefully a buyer is found and brings some investment to the area and changes it from a static fair to more of an immersive park. I think a new woodie would suit the park like at Tato park in Ireland
To be honest M&Ds was really popular in the 90s but since then it hasn’t Aged well they really need to use the £3 million on refurbishing the park instead of new costers and stages

I do wish like there was a company out there that would save dying parks not just in the uk but the world
And they would add some new attractions to keep it afloat
So nice that you are covering these local parks as well as the big ones, with the amount of subs you have you can actually make a difference to some of these smaller parks with the exposure.

M and Ds sucks It’s just not worth it it’s really expensive and the rides sucks they are not even that good I think they need a big update they need to add big rides but the arcade is good tho!
You get loads of things for your money especially in the summer with all the shows and and I wouldn't say £20 is bad for a theme park
The problem is if you want a big cutting edge theme that's constantly updated. You'd have to expect to pay through the nose for it. Combined with paying extortionate amounts for food and drink on site.

Im pretty sure all rides are smoother than hero 😆 i have to agree with you that hero is my least favourite ride at flamingo land i just ride it for a laugh 😂

Theme Park?? Aye right more like it slept with a theme park. Absolute kip man. The height of the main rollercoaster is laughable. I've seen taller houses FFS.
Unfortunately many rides have now left this park too

M&Ds is dodgey ever since the crash m&ds has lost a lot of visitors and have removed most of the park just to get money all the rides are old and always malfunction I went there in late August for a day out I’m from Ireland and I’m being honest Tayto park is 200x times better I expect m&ds to close down in a few years I recommend going on the following. Mad mouse, white water logs, mobys revenge,tornado, mine train and magic carpet and pirate ship

The apple was chopped due to people hitting the beams inside and getting an almighty electric shock !! Used to work here !! Love the video !

I was at M&Ds a few days before you went. Its not a bad park. The Pirate ship ride used to be at Blackpool Pleasure Beach as Tidal Wave. Glad you had a good day in Bonnie Scotland

I wouldn't trust their safety record after that terrible crash a few years back that made the headlines.
We had no issues on our visit, it seems that they have improved safety across the park

I have been to an amusement park in Scotland about 5 years ago but I Carnot remember if it was m&d because I only remember a ride like tornado called the looping star which if I remember looked like a pin fart but when I was 7 I didn’t know my manufactures

Don’t know if you knew but the you can spin the cabin on the Ferris wheel

The poison dart frogs are actually not poisonous because I was actually keeper for a day and my cousin and we were told they weren’t actually poisonous
Just rewatched this after the news. As a theme park worker myself I'm gutted for the staff. Small shame too that you had to miss a cred too. Hopefully they can reduce their operations and wont have to permanently shut.
M&D's is probably one of the sketchiest parks I've seen and wouldn't advise going there, if not for the credits. It's kinda scary that it's in business after the accident on Tsunami, lmao

IDK, coming from an enthusiast standpoint it seems that this is one of the sketchier "major" parks in the UK

You are right Shawn, the park isn't too bad especially if you have kids, but when you grew up near alton towers, it's no real comparison, miss living in the midlands! Thanks for all your blogs, you take us around the world with you!

#DryHotDogs Last time I had a Rollover was Butlins several years ago...it was completely unbrined! Absolutely disgusting. Weird how voiding it of salt completely ruined it.

13:29 that ride use to have a tarp that would civer all the cars half way. That's what those metal parts are for. Idk why the hell they aren't using it it makes the ride amazing. I can't believe any of them are left. They use to have one at chippewa lake
It has been a while since I''ve been to my local theme park. I've always enjoyed the indoor areas such as the bowling and Amazonia but the outdoor rides are quite rough. It is good to see the park finally repainting some rides and getting new ones though. But I do think they need to replace some older ones still especially Tornado - M&Ds specialise in travelling rides (they have a few big wheels) but I feel a permanent rollercoaster would bring in many people. I love that you enjoy where it is based, The park has many swing parks and even a beach and holds many events. I hope you can do more in Scotland, we have a few more fairs and amusement parks and I feel you could do many videos for TPW and your adventure channel. Glad you still had a good time here despite the ride closures and too hot weather!

I went on the flying carpet and I hated it I thought that I was gonna die no joke I was on with a bigger person ( no much bigger) and I was on the edge I really thought I was gonna fall out

God this park needs so much investment. It doesn't look that different to last time I was there and that was 2003
I went a few years ago and they never had the condor ride or the crazy mouse ride thing where the mouse ride is was space or something like that it was an alright roller coaster for someone that doesn’t like going up high and doing loops sad it’s gone and the mine train use to be near the entrance and where it is now was a hanging roller coaster where your feet dangled I can’t remember it’s name but it had loops and stuff but it derailed and the carts fell into a children thing right beside it injuring people so that go removed it also use to have one of them bungee launch things and a booster ride if you know what that is

@FAZE_ IX its mines aswell, i live in Livingston not too far away from it. I mostly go down south to Alton Towers and that but i go to M&D's when i can. Fingers crossed they find a buyer 🤞
