I don't think the developera are aiming to follow the pokemon blueprint so closely, not counting the similarities that are already there.

Nintendo going after Palworld is stupid. I hope they don't decide to go after this game also. I still loved Pokemon, I just never got to finish Scarlet and Violet because I was hoping for a patch to make the framerate at least decent. Too bad Game Freak won't bother working on it. At least we got more alternatives as of lately.

Wouldn't they be affected to by the Pokémon patent lawsuit too? They have the "throwing a ball to a creature in a 3D world" mechanic, which they might end changing.
They might change it. It probably depends on who wins the lawsuit.
Depends if they make money. Nintendo won't go after them if it "isn't worth it" much like how games like starbound or wuthering waves also has creature catching mechanics but remained untouched.
